It was my first casting call on Model Management. All the processes from creating an account to posting to communication to reviews were very well designed and executed. Website is easy to navigate and the management team is responsive and helpful.

Interesting tool, but a lot to do better to be professional

Basically, it is an interesting tool, but it has many aspects that need to be improved to be a truly useful professional tool. I have highlighted most of these aspects in several feedback e-mails sent to your customer service department over the past few years. Nothing seems to have been taken into consideration.

I did not like that uploading my photos…

I did not like that uploading my photos online was hard and with a lot of errors. Also application does not match the site online on the platforms like chrome and other browsers. As I am premium member of the platform, I have expected site to work completely perfect for what I am paying.

Hoping it will get better soon.

A Scam? Maybe

The service may initially seem legitimate, but the terms and conditions are deeply disappointing. First, there's no practical way to evaluate the website's effectiveness, as the "free account" only permits you to apply to one casting. This limitation feels absurd, especially considering the slim chances of receiving a response unless you're incredibly lucky.

Additionally, the relentless spam emails urging you to upgrade to the "premium service" are overwhelming. At times, they arrive hourly (or more frequently), often with misleading messages claiming you've been "invited" to a casting—a clear attempt to pressure users into upgrading.

When I reached out to inquire about a free trial for the premium service, I was told none was available. Instead, they suggested purchasing the premium, trying it, and then canceling if unsatisfied. I followed their advice, only to find the service entirely unhelpful. Upon requesting a refund, I was told it wasn’t possible because I had "used the service."

How could I have known it wasn’t for me without trying it? The customer service was unprofessional and dismissive, adding to an already frustrating experience. Overall, this platform feels more like a money-grabbing scheme than a genuine resource for casting opportunities.

I used ModelManagement to post a casting flee test

I used ModelManagement to post a casting for a free test photoshoot, and the experience was truly positive. Creating the announcement was very straightforward thanks to the intuitive tools provided by the platform.

After publishing the casting, I received several applications, which made it easy to select the model who best suited the project. The communication phase was also seamless: all arrangements with the model were handled conveniently through the platform's internal messaging system, which proved to be practical and efficient.

In conclusion, the entire process—from creating the casting to selecting the model and managing communication—was smooth and effective. Great experience, highly recommended!

Needs improvement

I reported issues one year ago, but nothing changed, I cancelled my subscription.

- search function lacks radius / perimeter
- faulty search results. Hits are often entirely unrelated.
- Search for my city only works if I first search for any other city (Android).
- cumbersome browsing. A hit cannot be opened directly.
- cumbersome mailing. Copy/paste results in strange formatting, sending of photos not possible.
- sorting by recent activity fails and hides recent active members only at the end of the list.
It's a promising platform, but overall a non-satisfactory experience.

I registered on modelmanagement.com, and they emailed me on one casting call that fit my profile on their website. I applied to it and saw another casting, so I tried to apply to it; they told me I hit the maximum free casting, so now I have to pay a fee. $119.00 a year, they said, this was a 50% discount from their regular fees. How do they send me a casting that fits my profile? Then I tried to apply for another, but they blocked me from applying, saying I ran out of free casting. They should tell all new members they can only apply to one free casting before they are required to pay for a subscription. How they did it looks very fishy. I understand they’re in the business of making money but should be more upfront and transparent about their intentions and fees.

Model management 60% is good

Model management is good, yet as a paid member- I still can't see all the models in my local area in Australia. I constantly get people applying to my casting call- but if I did a search in my area: there profile will not show up! And sometimes I can see new models, but I can't click through to their profile... Ever since the website was revamped: something has been broken with the new website!

I appreciate MM's ability to connect…

I appreciate MM's ability to connect models and photographers from around the world. The casting process is amazingly effective in bringing artists together.
