If you expect to join MCS and be done and dusted in six months or a year, think again. The course material will keep inspiring me for years, and beyond the videos and live classes there's a huge library of resources. The full orchestral scores alone have been a goldmine, and I've learned a staggering amount from them.

What really sets it apart is that Jason is a working professional showing his craft. There are plenty of academic composition courses out there, but this is something different. Watching him make composition and production decisions in real time, then getting his feedback on my own work, is the best education I could ask for. MCS is far more a mentorship than a course, and a damn good one.

Jason is not only a fantastic composer and producer, he's a genuinely good person: generous, supportive, funny and open. I came looking for a mentor and found a great one, and somewhat by accident, a great friend too.

Nerding out about film music with my cohort has been a joy as well. The community feels genuine, and the live classes are as much fun as they are packed with information. I'm certain this program will make great composers of us all.
