and I can honestly say this course has been a life changer for my playing.
I went with the private lessons and they are worth a shot.
Lukas is responsive through texts but also knows how to have fun during your lessons with him.
To any guitarist that is in a rut of any sort, seriously give this a chance, because it’s changed my playing but also my perspective on theory too!

If you are a beginner or intermediate player, this course can put you "on the road" to level up your technique and general knowledge on the guitar.

After playing guitar for 15 years and hitting a brick wall Lucas taught me the mistakes I was making. In just one month my fire is rekindled and my playing has improved.
I can finally realisticlly see a future where I can play all the guitar solos I always wanted to.

Well structured Guitar course with a lot of really cool and fun to play exercises. I struggled with Downpicking and Shredding and the exercises really helped me tackle some issues in my playing technique. Lukas is an excellent teacher and has a different approach for achieving speed. After 2 months of playing with this course, I have only finished about 20% of the lessons. There is a lot of cool things to come.

Lukas is a good teacher and very present throughout the course. He cares and he gives you 100% of his attention, which is rare nowadays.

The course itself is very well organized and structured to be very efficient. Every single lesson will teach you skills you neeed to master to excel your playing. Every lesson has a video explaining in great depth of how to play every technique. Lukas also performs the exercises with you so you can actually see how it’s properly done. One of my favorite things about this course is Lukas shares personal experiences. Whether it’s about guitar or life itself, it makes you feel closer to him. On top of all that, you can always contact him directly to help. He’s quick to reply and will make sure you get the help you need. Honestly I don’t think there’s a better course out there that combines a well structured course and a helpful instructor like this one does.

The Modern Guitar Course is great. All exercises are executable, even The most challnging. One of the best things are The one X one call with Lukas. He is very simple and he help you to focus on what you need to develop.

This course offers helpful and well structured material that will lead you to improve your playing in a few weeks. It has boosted my dexterity and led me to use my practice time more efficiently. The music I found impossible to play became clearer and achievable. You will receive always great support, if you need it.

I had dreams of becoming a shredder on guitar but in 2016 i had a brain aneurism bleed which left scar tissue on my right hypothalamus My left hand right hand synchronization was no longer what it used to be. After two weeks in MGC i am seeing improvements in my coordination and feel like my dreams of becoming a shredder are again within my control so I can"t Thank Lukas enough for that and even though i have along ways to go in the course i can recommend this well structured course to all who wish to improve.

I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I could play over any type of music, always got compliments when I performed, and knew more theory & concepts than most, but I knew inside that I had not stepped into the next level of being a musician. In 4 life-times, I could not complete all of the resources that I have amassed over the years. There has been no limit to the study guides, materials, videos, etc. I am a member of numerous online groups, and methods. Some even include zoom meetings and feedback. So...what has been missing?

I did not need more exercises. I wanted focused direction from somebody who has been successful in the ways that I desired to be successful. I happened upon a you-tube video of Lukas & signed up for a zoom meeting. Here is what I found:

Lukas is direct & to the point in his teachings. He has a positive attitude & has created a path which got me playing with more command of the instrument. I have never considered myself a shredder & did not want to become one. I wanted the ability to throw speed in my playing along with my sense of melody and to be able to express myself through the guitar freely. Almost 60% through the Modern Guitar Course, I am still seeing improvement every single day. Others say I am playing & shredding like never before.

Not having a direction is frustrating & wastes your time. The Modern Guitar Course is focused, direct, structured and progresses step by step, yet it has led me to grow in the guitar style that I love. I like that it is straight to the point & not wasting time. Lukas knows what to do, the order to do it in & shows you that he truly cares about your growth & success. Lukas has been quick to respond to any emails that I send him. The zoom meetings are where Lukas provides the necessary guidance. I have felt like zoom meetings with other teachers were rushed, they were maintaining a business, they were focused on the materials & not on you as an individual. Lukas has the heart of an encouraging teacher.

Make the financial commitment, make the time commitment, make your vision your reality. Lukas will guide you as you trust the process and grow.

The program is just amazing, it is so well structured and any goal you have I know for shure that Lukas will help you make it. You feel motivated right away and you feel the progress in just a few days.

The explanations of the exercises and how to do them, how to practice them are extremely clear and that helps a lot to just focus on playing.

I was skeptical about the good reviews but after having a call with Lukas and starting the program I can only say that plp are 100% correct on their good impressions. This is what happened in my case:

- I was stuck and not able to practice for a few months, even when I had the time I didn't know what to focus. The step 0 of the program put me in a streak of 15 days that made me regain my discipline and excitement about the instrument.

- One simple note from Lukas made me change the way I play a lot when I put it into practice. He is a nice and very approachable person that deeply care about providing a good value in return of our investment.

- I'm still on the early stages of the program but the upcoming topics rly fuel my interest for keeping up.

Great exercises, great mindset being taught throughout and excellent teacher.

The guided instructions and closeness that my guy Lukas offers through the entire course is just out of this world

I started the course 3 months ago. I was chosing between two different courses. MGC was slightly more expensive but the website showed the whole structure of the course and since it included in very small videos the information I thought I wanted to learn I went with it.

The most important thing is discipline. If you don't practice every day a little it is hard to improve.

Lukas course starts with the most basic module which you can do in a day if you are intermidiate but shows in very quick small videos stretching and excercises to sync both hands. They are simple and effective.

Module one is more complex, I haven't finished it, because you get into modes and scales and they require practice. Lukas does a great work giving motivation words during the videos and gives a phone call to get you started which is quite useful after a month when you start losing motivation.

He also stresses that you don't have to follow the course in that exact order, many times you will need to practice one area for a while, that doesn't mean you can't jump to a different module to practice something completely different.

Each time I start practice something new from the modules I can notice a good improvement in my skill the next few days.

Then I get stuck, a every day I practice a little bit of everything and when bored then try something new.

With that pattern I personally find I can improve. But again. Is not magic it requires discipline.

Lukas is a great guy and the course is well structure, he is open to feedback and in theory the course will keep expanding.

I am happy with the course so far, I have noticed I am improving.

Such a well laid out course. No stone left unturned and very simple building blocks from 1 video to the next.

If you’re stuck in that intermediate rut or just want to learn a new style don’t hesitate. It’s really thrown me out of my comfort zone and I have seen massive improvement

Been using MGC for about two months - was previously stuck at an intermediate plateau where I found myself playing the same licks and riffs after nailing down the basics of scales and theory

I’ve been splitting time between the riff writing and theory course. Lukas does a great job structuring the course so the theory builds on itself. As someone who previously tried to do all lessons through YouTube, I find my understanding of the relationship between scales, chords, arpeggios, has increased exponentially. The licks also did a great job of moving me out of the scale boxes. Great for improvising!

As far as the riff writing course goes… it’s just a great time. If you don’t find downstroke detonator fun, guitar might not be for you

I am having a great time with the Modern Guitar Course that I find is the way towards achieving guitar mastery, especially in metal and shred guitar. From studying this course, I am seeing improvement already in my picking in such short time so therefore I cannot wait to watch it all unfold as I acquire mastery upon learning further from this course.
Of course you must take the time to learn everything but this methodology is the most unsurpassed one I have seen in my years as a guitar player.

I have been enjoying the way the methodology is set out with all the transcriptions, Guitar Pro, backing tracks and videos altogether in the same place making it seamless to work with all simultaneously.
The first module primarily focuses on hand synchronisation and the next modules build further in great detail into theory, riffs and how to put it all together. All the techniques such as the various picking techniques are just the beginning.

Lukas is a truly wonderful instructor who is always there to help and has put this course with not only the serious guitarist in mind but also the aspiring guitarist who needs a path and guidance, therefore anyone who is currently on the fence about getting onto the course and it's path should just jump across to the right side and will find a return on their investment in time.
I cannot recommend enough to book a 1:1 Call with Lukas as soon as possible. I recently had mine and it was nothing short of eye-opening.

If you have a raging passion to learn and ultimately master shred guitar but have reached the end of your rope with undertaking other methods with no rhyme or reason that lead you to plateaus, dead ends or have your head spinning uncomfortably in confusion ultimately viewing it all as a highly elusive prey that resides somewhere in the next universe regarding the mastery of shred guitar, then this where you need to be for you'll find yourself on the right path, simultaneously acquiring mastery and having fun while doing it.
