Definitely a scam. Saw the ad on Instagram. Finding out most of the ads on Instagram are scams. They dont have a handle on the advertising yet. Waited 3 months and no updates. They just hope people don't follow up so they can keep the money

What an horrible, shocking experience with this company, ordered over 6 weeks ago now.
They are playing me around with running out of stock with 1 item, then few weeks later it is the other one ...to finally after weeks of waiting ignoring my emails !! I asked for a refund and 2 months later I have none of the items I ordered and my money is gone.
I am not giving up, you guys are you the worst

This company is just as scammy as the others have said. Their clothes are cheap and they don’t actually let you return items. When I inquired about the returns as indicated on their website since the items did not fit me properly, they told me I had to measure the clothes in 3 different ways; to send pictures and diagrams to prove that it’s not the correct size. Even then, they will not accept returns and refund money. Do NOT purchase anything from this company

Do NOT order from this site unless you are okay with not returning anything! I ordered 4 sweaters and only received 2. They promptly refunded me for the 2 that they said were 'out of stock' when I contacted them. Of the remaining 2 items, one sweater was defective and the other was fine - I just did not like it or the color. The nightmare began when I asked them to return the two items. Because they pushed back so hard on the returns, I decided to focus on the defective sweater since that should be returnable or refunded without no issue (and I provided photo right away of defect). Think again. Repeatedly they told me to just donate and accept a $7 refund from them (the refund suggested changes with every email they send- - sometimes higher, sometimes lower). Why would I ever take $7 for a defective sweater I paid $26 for? Bottom line is after 22+ emails over weeks and weeks they finally refunded me for the defective sweater and for the other they never would
provide return shipping information to me even though they have repeatedly reminded me that I have to pay the return shipping and I agreed. My experience has been that they respond fairly promptly, but they won't allow you to return anything. Shop somewhere else.

Modest Mint is a scam. The clothes are cheap and they do not provide returns. The website states easy returns but I had to file a dispute through my credit card company to resolve the issue. The company is in China and impossible to deal with. Beware!

Do not buy from them!

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Customer service is unacceptable. Initially dealt with them via PayPal, and opened a dispute, resolved when they said it would be there in a few days. Only received 2 out of the 3 items purchased. PayPal Dispute was already closed, so couldn’t escalate. Reached them directly, letting them know situation. Never once during dispute did they say only 2 items would be arriving. Many emails back and forth, Only refunded $16 out of the $19 dollars. When I asked if I would be receiving the remaining amount, they answered with, “CAS ya used a discount code.”

This is what you deal with.

Absolutely horrible. Purchased $86 worth of clothing that looked really nice online, but it was cheap and skimpy and nothing fit. Tried to email MULTIPLE TIMES and no one ever responded. You have 15 days to return it, ASSUMING you can get a return approval, but I can't get a reply at all. Even tried FB messenger through their FB page. Total scam. They robbed me of $86 and I'm stuck with garbage.

I had a similar experience to the person who reviewed before me. I have been dealing since oct 23rd. Sent the pictures back, but they wont send me shipping info to return items. They did try to offer me $6 back if I just keep it all to avoid the high cost of shipping it back. All the reviews you find elsewhere must be fake. Dont believe them for a second, these clothes are trash. You may as well order from wish, it's the same stuff. Currently my credit card company is trying to find a resolve. This should be a crime. This is people hard earned money and most likely those ordering are trying to treat themselves.

I received my order however it did take weeks for the packages to arrive. Some of the items are nice and better quality than others but others are really cheaply made and thin fabric. I have contacted the company about the items that I want to return and so far they are giving me the run around. Lots of delay tactics. They keep wanting to know which items I want to return and why, which is fine, except they wont send me the return form that they say is required so that I can fill it out and let them know the reasons. They even asked for a photo – which I thought was very strange. They are a company out of China and they obviously are trying to continue to just send me emails asking why I want to return the items instead of just doing what a reputable company should do – which is send the return form and instructions. I even sent them the photos that they requested and listed out all the barcodes and sizes of the items of the clothing pieces I am trying to return, and they came back asking for more photos. I will not even consider buying anything else from this company, and I am going to make sure all my friends and others are aware of their customer service and scam regarding returns.

Which, by the way, the buyer has to pay the return shipping costs. I have been around and around with them since Nov 22. They are using the fact that they are in China as a buffer for them to provide quality customer service. BUYERS BEWARE!

In a nutshell: Modestmint.com is based in China and their customer service is non-existent. If you have anything you want to return, you can forget trying to get your money back. Their return policy is a scam!
