Poor Service, Don't Recommend

While they were accomodating so far as booking my vehicle in to have a DPF assessment, they advised that they'd need a £126 deposit to be taken over the phone.

I understand that they are in business to make money and that spending time doing diagnostics has to come at a cost, however I can't help but thinking I left there with no meaningful answers.

I know DPF's are expensive if they are in need of replacement. The car isn't worth too much so it stands to reason that I ought to consider scrapping the thing. I was given a list of some other concerns with the car that I've had the past three years but did not consider any issues beyond DPF being in need of a diagnosis. The paperwork reads that there was no fault found with DPF despite it showing a "CHECK SYSTEM" warning on the vehicle, all pointing to the DPF.

The technician tells me that it needs Honda for diagnostics and software update, plus a genuine DPF but nowhere on paper it states an issue with DPF itself. Technician said a lot of work needs doing on car which could be costing in region of £3,000.

I felt ripped off in all honesty because I left there with nowhere to go. Lots of unanswered questions and short of stating the obvious, I know if DPF requires replacement, then the car is indeed scrap. Either I take the technicians word for it, or get a second opinion though I thought I was visiting a DFP specialist.

I travelled from Wirral to have my MOT and car serviced and some repair work done here, on a recommendation...The work was going to take several days so they gave me a courtesy car. They kept me informed throughout the whole process. When I came back to pick up my car it was like a brand new car. They had cleaned my car inside and out thougrally. All the staff and owner Gavin were a pleasure to deal with..I can't praise them highly enough..I Will definitely be going back them for my next MOT and service and any repair work..Once again, thank you very much indeed,a visit well worth it and a big 10 out of 10...Try them, you will not be disappointed. Mike.

The service is truly personalised and…

The service is truly personalised and dedicated to each individual’s needs.
I brought my car in on Thursday, and in that short time the team carried out a great deal of work — including fitting a new clutch and dual mass flywheel, replacing the control arm, fuel lines and tyres, as well as completing a full vehicle inspection.

On Thursday, they replaced the clutch and dual mass flywheel, and by Friday morning at 10am, they had provided and received my approval for the quote for the remaining work.

They sourced the parts directly from Ford, fitted them, and had the car ready and running by 5pm.

They were aware that I needed to travel to Wolverhampton on Saturday, so they prioritised my repair and ensured everything was completed before closing — a real testament to their dedication and customer care.

I was also given a new electric vehicle to use while mine was being repaired.

Each EV was fully charged with around 120 miles of range, which was great, but as I do a lot of driving around the area and there were no working charging points nearby, I needed to swap vehicles once the charge ran low.

The team were very understanding and allowed me to exchange it for another fully charged EV that was ready to go — a really thoughtful and accommodating gesture.

The workshop itself is spotless — that was actually the first thing I noticed. It’s bright, well-presented, and clearly well-maintained. The waiting area is also comfortable and professional, with a complimentary coffee machine for customers.

Their prices are very reasonable compared to most garages in the area, and the overall service has been excellent from start to finish.
It’s been a pleasure dealing with you all, and I’ll definitely be returning with more work in the future. I’ll also be recommending you to others!
