Looks nice, but sloppy execution

The furniture is nice looking, the quality is okay, but it is obvious that Modway did a quick, sloppy rendering of the design specs and never bothered to test or manually assemble the chairs themselves before selling them en masse to the market.
Specifically: they are conceptually easy to assemble, but difficult and time consuming in getting the holes lined up and finagled just right. The result is that you see the craftsmanship of the pieces close up - revealing that the quality is just "okay." Mediocre. There are scratches on the wood, chipped edges, the black wood stain doesn't cover up the low quality of the chosen wood pieces or their subpar sanding/shaping.
What brought me here is that there were a few hardware pieces missing from their bag - that I had to supplement myself.

This company needs to be shut down for…

This company needs to be shut down for selling defective products. I bought a walnut corner TV stand on Amazon from Modway. Unfortunately, after the fact, I discovered that the seller and Amazon had washed their hands of this company. The product was so defective that nothing lined up. All the holes in the 2 main pieces do not match the holes in the parts. I have had to order missing parts and new parts. The new parts are all drilled the same way and do not work. It is impossible to put together. I will be contacting the New Jersey Attorney General about this company.

Modway does not stand behind their products

I reached out to Modway regarding the cushions I have on some outdoor teak furniture. The cushion covers are very poorly made. The fabric is not finished off inside and as a result, they have started falling apart at the seams. I let them know of this defect and their response was that they don't sell replacement cushions OR cushion covers. Clearly, they don't stand behind the quality of their products. They offered no resolution whatsoever.
