the algorithm got really bad! I’ve been using MOIA for a while, but the last few rides have been a complete disappointment. The algorithm seems to have gotten much worse. The last three times I used it, I would have actually arrived faster taking public transport!

Even though I live in central Hamburg, I usually end up waiting 20–30 minutes for a ride — which makes no sense. I often take MOIA to go to the airport (only 15 minutes by taxi), but it’s become completely unreliable.

The route planning is just bizarre. On one trip, I literally left the airport to pick someone up — only to return to the airport 15 minutes later to drop another passenger off. It was late, I was tired, and I lost so much time. The routes often zigzag through tiny side streets instead of taking direct routes, wasting even more time.

To make things worse, the app gives you overly optimistic estimates (“driver arriving in 10 min” or “arrival in 25 min”), but delays keep piling up. What should be a smooth, eco-friendly option ends up being slow, unpredictable, and frustrating.

Save your money — take public transport or a regular taxi instead.

Terrible taxi company.! I ordered a taxi from my hotel to Hamburg airport because it was very cold and raining heavily, I paid in advance and they never even showed up.! It showed on the live tracker on their app that the taxi stopped about 800 metres where I was waiting and then about 10 seconds later they said I didn't show up, then they charged me a 80% cancellation fee.! I ended up having to walk about 20 minutes to the airport in the cold and got soaked. I would not recommend anyone to use this service.!

One of the worst customer services ever. They don’t allow little puppies within a close dog transport box and still charge you for it. Upon clarifying with customer service, they were not even able to explain the reason or apologise for the inconvenience. I will never spend my money with this company ever again

Been using MOIA for more than a year now but I don‘t think I will be using it as often anymore. The price has gone way up high. Usually paid under €10 for a 4 km ride and now it‘s around €18 up. I have always recommended it as well to friends and family but won‘t anymore.

Great service. New fleet, smoothly and kindly driven. Great app. Short waiting times and exactly on expectation pickup or delivery.
