As a Minecraft server owner

As a Minecraft server owner, I feel completely left by Mojang support. I’ve contacted support over 20 times regarding my anarchy server and never once received a clear, human response - only copy paste, generated sounding replies that ignore the actual issue. There is no real escalation, no discussion, and no accountability. Server owners are a huge reason Minecraft is still alive, yet we’re treated like a problem instead of hosters. This kind of support destroys trust and makes running a server feel pointless.

These are one big SCAM they are…

These are one big SCAM they are stealing your details. My Child was in my account with my email address playing this game. He wanted to go into a server. He got a pin sent to my email address. I gave him the pin and then the account was hacked. This is to do with this company. Do not trust them.

Disappointing

Services are spotty and don’t work half the time. I’ve spent a week so far unable to access content I paid them for and their customer support is a joke. I’ve sent in multiple support tickets to which I get one response asking for a receipt. As soon as I send a copy of my receipt I get ignored. Terrible company to do business with, they clearly do not care about helping customers that have spent money on their product.

A Legacy of Creativity and Innovation

Mojang AB, now under Microsoft, continues to impress with its commitment to creativity, community, and continuous improvement. Minecraft remains one of the most influential and beloved games of all time, thanks to regular updates, cross-platform support, and a thriving player community. Microsoft’s stewardship has brought even more polish and reach to the game without losing the charm and freedom that made it iconic. Their support for modding, education, and global community events proves they care deeply about both players and creators. An outstanding company that sets the gold standard in gaming.

Mojang is a pretty good company

Mojang is a pretty good company. They made Minecraft, which is REALLY nice, and fun to play! I enjoy it a lot, but I do have one critique. The PRICE. Bedrock edition used to be FREE, but it ISN'T anymore. Only Java Edition used to cost money, and Bedrock was free. I recently got a new laptop, and I tried to get Minecraft again, but I found that you HAVE to pay the FULL price of $30 to get the STANDARD edition of Java AND Bedrock. I was so mad, and I think that Mojang is getting very GREEDY and is just doing this for the money at this point. There have only been a few good Minecraft updates recently, but none SUPER good. Please, and I mean PLEASE make Bedrock Edition FREE AGAIN. I get that $30 isn't enough, but STILL.

Thieves

I got my game through a giftcode long time ago in 2011 maybe, so OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't have the transaction ID because SOMEONE ELSE has bought it for me, someone who as it happens I have no contact with anymore. I talked with the abysmal customer service back around 2020-21, bad, it might as well not exists. Bots, might be very well talking to a tree or a monkey in the zoo, maybe I'd get more help then. Saying that terrible is an understatement is an understatement. I think it's deliberate so people buy the game again. How else do you explain that mojang doesn't give a single f about all those people who lost their accounts because of their stupid migration. Look at the reviews here. Same thing I remember looking at their support on discord. Every other person was talking about this. If they think I will buy the game again then they switched brains with their dix.

Terrible

Terrible. They force you to transfer your account or lost access to a game that you paid for (I played it since 0.1.0. alpha). Not only that but their EULA states "All permissions and consents are given by us at our discretion and may be revoked at any time if we think that it is appropriate to do so, or we don't like what you are doing".. WHAT
Also states that: " These guidelines may change as time goes by. We reserve the right to change our mind at any time (such as if people start to take advantage of our good intentions) and to update these guidelines. So don't count on these guidelines always being here or in the specific form they are in right now. lt's up to you to occasionally check back here to see if these guidelines have changed and ensure your use of Minecraft is in line with what we allow. Any changes made to these guidelines will be effective the next time you use our games, websites, or other services." Which is illegal by EU Consumer Law which states that they have to inform all users of changes to the Toss..

Aphmau and the Terrors of Microsoft

I like Minecraft because you can build anything. BUT, I can't make a Microsoft account for Minecraft!!! It says I can't connect to a verification server because my browser is outdated, or my device needs an update. I'm on Fire Tablet 10, make it so I don't need a newer device for a Microsoft account, please. And why can't I add servers on Nintendo Switch and other consoles? Boring. But I like the skin pack Aphmau made on the Marketplace, it has ten skins, I just need Minecoins...

Right to Buy non existent with this company

I'm one of those mugs that has brought the game and have had my access revoked because I didn't log on during a set period. Abseloutely abysmal that they can get away with this in today’s day and age. I only had a few play sessions when I made the account in 2019 so I have well and truly being robbed by this God awful company and now expected to buy the same f******g game again.

Support are useless and there is no reason to put a deadline on the migration. I am so annoyed to have had my experience of a company I have grown up with me and played many of their products turn out to have done this scumbaggery act. They are thieves plain and simple and I am obviosuely not buying the game again that is now closed to twice what I paid for originally. This is completely greed and I cannot believe I've been done over like this and told to deal with it.

Rightfully outraged!!!

Mojang are hated on a lot

Mojang are hated on a lot, but I think it's time for people took look past that. I think part of the reason is that Mojang don't understand their audience, and try to appeal to younger audiences even though primarily that isnt the people playing their game.
