Terrible service

Terrible service. False promises. Complaints were met with refusal to acknowledge. Then I indicated they should listen to the voice recording to hear the promises that were made. Upon which they agreed to cancel my upgrade as requested.
Then I follow up twice after the stipulated time the first time they tell me the cancelation is in progress and the second follow up they tell me they can't cancel.

Many lies. If you want a trustworthy company. Don't deal with mondo.

Misleading unsolicited “upgrade” and poor resolution from Mondo

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from Mondo.

In December, Mondo contacted me with an unsolicited contract “upgrade” and their agent misrepresented key facts. I was led to believe she was acting on behalf of Vodacom, and I was told the upgraded contract included voice minutes and more data than I was currently receiving for a similar monthly fee. Both claims were false.

When I challenged this, Mondo confirmed the misinformation and assured me the upgrade would be fully reversed with no extra charges. Despite this, I have now been told that discounts on my plan no longer apply. In other words, I am expected to carry the financial consequences of Mondo’s misleading sales conduct.

This is unacceptable. A proper reversal should restore the original contract completely, not selectively.

Consumers should not be misled into agreements and then penalised when trying to correct the situation.

Very poor experience, poor accountability, and an unfair outcom

I was told I would be migrating, my but instead my premiums have increased, I was charged pro- rata which I was not advised off. My number has since been blocked I cannot call the call centre. Mondo cannot give answers with regards to the call recording that I have requested

Scammers

Don't accept a call from them. These are scamners. I was contacted by a sales person saying I have been rewarded with more benefits on my current contract, I specifically asked how much it would cost me I was told just R20 more. Behold I now owe 800 more.

FRAUD!!

FRAUD!!! Mondo had my details from 8 years ago and last year December gave an IPAD on an MTN contract to the value of R39 000, on my details. I got notifications from my bank of money going off my account. They done a debi-check and authorized it. It has now been 10 months and I have lawyer contacting me for a phone i did not pay, which i also did not order..NEVER NEVER SUPPORT THEM, THEY ARE THIEFS

Only way the can improve is to loose my phone nr! Lady that phoned me don't listen. I politely told her that I am not interested and as if I said nothing she just carry on and on after the 4th time I spoke in a harsh tone and then she she start giving me attitude.
Please don't ever call me again.

I got a phone last year December

I got a phone last year December, then I returned it within 2days and then everything was submitted, now am applying for credit to find out that they have listed me for something I didn’t own. I phoned them from Monday and no one is calling me when I call they telling me about 14days of the issue to be resolved. Now I must suffer for that

Im very disappointed in the poor service

Im very disappointed in the poor service that i have gotten from mondo and they haven't been returning my calls i got an iPhone 13 from mondo and it stopped charing was advised to take it to Mtn and a warranty assignment was done and approved then they refused to give me a new phone like i was instructed by mtn they forced me to cancel my contract but now they don't want to log my cancelation where as they forced me and said that thats the only way and that i just have to stay without a phone tbey expect me to pay for a phone that i dont have and they did a debi check and it was approved but they didn't take the debit order like they said they would. This is the worst site to get a phone tbey are very rude and unprofessional they make promises that they can't keep and when you are unhappy tbey make sure to avoid you inevery way possible. Can someone help me get this contract canceled so i can get a phone i can't work because i need a phone.

Constant calls stating he was from…

Constant calls stating he was from Moneris. Indeed was ploy to be transferred the management. When transferred to management he would then start where he was actually from. When stating not interested the calls continued as well as emails.
This is not a way to get clients. ANDREW is very rude and was ignorant to our staff.

Paying extra for nothing

I got my phone 3 days ago with Mondo under MTN. I got a sms stating I’ve got to pay R675 every month and I’m only supposed to pay R609 every month for the iPhone 13.
Another problem is that on my contract that was sent to me states that my phone is insured because it’s ticked on the boxes on the contract but now when I called to make sure I’m correct , I was told I need to pay extra for insurance. I want help ASAP because I’m having doubts with keeping this contract.

The lady called me in 2022 saying they have rooter uncapped only to find out that package was a 30gb . I requested cancellation and they didn’t!!!now I owe MTN… I’m not gonna pay that money

I got a message to authorise a debicheck for MTN,I called MTN to inform them that I never authorise or coonsent for any contract or debicheck,since I didn't apply for any contract with them,They checcked on their end and they saisd the debicheck is from MONDO,how does MONDO request for a debicheck without mmy knowledge,no documentation,they are FRAUD STARS and they hired FRAUD STARS,so MTN cancelled the Debi check,they are still waiting for the feedback from MONDO.Am so DISGUSTED by so called MONDO,they are busy doing FRAUD with people's documents.I will report this on every platform to make people aware of theses scammers SIS....
