Terrible decision to buy from these

I wouldn’t even rate them 1

I purchased a car from Monks Park Motors and requested a battery health check before buying. The garage failed to carry out this basic check. Concerned for safety, I took the car to Volkswagen in Ashford for an independent inspection — the findings were alarming and raised serious doubts about the vehicle’s condition.

I have tried to contact Monks Park Motors seven times by phone and email with no response whatsoever. I have also requested the principal seller’s details to resolve this issue.

I cannot recommend this garage. Anyone considering buying a car here should get independent checks first and be prepared for extremely poor communication.

Not a very professional business and one to avoid!!

Bought a 2016 Range Rover evoque and all I can say is wow!! But for all the wrong reasons. Being based 5 hours away we agreed a price and delivery of the vehicle, we assumed the vehicle would be trailered for the price but never mind. Bloke who drove it handed the paperwork over and off he went. Upon inspection of the vehicle we found issues that hadn’t been photographed that would have made us think twice about purchasing the car. Key blade was missing from the key also. When I raised this issue I was met with “oh we didn’t check that” and “who photographs the damage or bad points”. Reluctantly they agreed to issue a partial refund for us to get the bits sorted but not actually at the cost price just what they thought was “fair”. After less than a week of driving the tyre pressure light came on and a bulge the size of an egg was on one of the tyres! We took the car to a local garage who said not only were they extremely old tyres but very much illegal!! So on top of the 9.5k paid we then had to shell out another £600 on tyres. I wouldn’t recommend them delivering a car as not honest in the descriptions and you are sure to be in for surprises!!
