My engraver was experiencing low air pressure. Even my machine was past its warranty date, they sent me a new air compressor at no charge. They also provided clear instructions on how to remove the old air compressor and install the new one.

I had an issue getting the rotary working on the Reno45. There were many articles on the internet to make it work but I was not able to get mine going. I asked Monport support and got an answer after 1 day. They sent a video that stepped me though the whole process. Great support!!!

I ordered my Monport 100W Co2 Laser engraving/cutting machine in November 2024. When it arrived I was in the middle of building a shop. Because of this, I was not able to uncrate the machine for several months. When I did, I discovered the plexiglass had a small crack and one of the leveling feet had lost the rubber boot. I reached out to Monport’s after sales support. I have read numerous reviews that says Monport after sales support does not respond. That was not my experience. They are in China, there is a significant time difference. It takes a day to hear back. After sales support got back to me, it took some time to work through options, but in the end, i was send replacement plexiglass, and a leveling foot.
So far the machine is awesome. I’m impressed with the quality, especially for the price. It is fast and engraves with wonderful detail.
The only thing I can criticize is the manual. It lacks detail. I relied on Youtube to work through the machine setup. My manual also didn’t have the correct control panel. After sales support did send me the correct manual when I asked.

I really appreciate how quickly they responded to my question about the LightBurn key and the support they provided. Even though I didn’t have the order number, they were still able to find my purchase just with the order name and email. I’m still learning how to use the machine, but I really like it — it works perfectly for what I need right now. Highly recommended!

I'd stay away from this company. From personal experience, they are absolute scam artists that use fraudulent, deceptive, and illegal business practices.
Of course, there are success stories out there about their machines, they wouldn’t still be in business if there wasn’t. But the problems start to arrive when something goes wrong with your machine—especially under warranty. Good luck trying to get them to honor that warranty in any resemblance of how a reputable company would have. That’s if you can get them to honor anything without them trying to make more money off you or fix things on your own dime.
In my case they lied, connived, denied, stalled, refused, and deceived, among other unethical and illegal tactics. Check out their BBB rating, it isn’t an “F” for no reason. I’m currently in the process of filing suit against their fraudulent, deceptive business practices and breach of warranty.

I would like them to have US people for service so it would not take 24 hours to get a response for help. But they do help you when you email them it just takes 24 hours because of the time difference.

No instructions for using with Mac even though their website states works with windows and Mac. After slow responses from Monport, I watched a LOT of YouTube videos and finally stumbled onto getting the machine working. Got machine Jul 17 2025. Finally able to use on Jul 31 2025. 15 days of FRUSTRATION.

Over a year and a half ago we decided to expand our crafting business into CO2 cutting and engraving. Soon after we started comparing different types and sizes. MONPORT often came up in the various comparisons. This was going to be a big investment for our small business so we tried to be careful. We had significant experience with Diode type lasers but this would be our first CO2 type. Due to the huge difference in pricing between “American” (I.e., Thunder, Boss, etc) and overseas types such as MONPORT or OHM-TECH, we went by buying one 80W MONPORT and similar 80W OHM TECH.
Right off the start we started having trouble with the Monpport. Possibly due to our inexperience. The “Auto Focus” quit working and the Laser Head was broken when it ran into the Honeycomb. This is where we really hit a snag with MONPORT Support. It turned out all but impossible to speak to someone. To this day our Monoort support appears to be email only every 2 days or so. We finally got over these and several others issues, but it still bothers us that it is difficult to speak to a MONPORT support person on a timely manner for urgent issues.
Compare this with our experience on the OHM-TECH. These machines seems to be less quality than the Monports. The cut and fine engraving is MUCH better on our MONPORT. But a week into the OHM TECH the laser tube failed. We contacted Ohm Tech support, got hold of a PERSON, and after some troubleshooting they sent us a NEW laser tube free of charge. We were back and running within the week. On the other hand, after a year of struggle we were able to get a new Laser support bracket from MONPORT.
I hope this is taken as constructive because we would love to purchase another MONPORT as an upgrade.

Working with the Monport after sales and support teams has been a good experience. They have responded to all communications in a timely manner, and provided the fix needed to get my K40 up and running. A second issue arose, and after some simple repairs, all is well.

HEPA filter in my 350 watt smoke filter clogged up after the first five hours of use. After sales support has been very good and replaced the filter at no charge to me. I hope this was a fluke as it would be quite expensive to replace the filter every five hours, hence the cautionary four stars.

I purchased the 60W fiber laser and set it up. I missed one setting and had to contact the tech support for assistance. They did get back to me to help but I was persistent and had found my error before they had time to reply. So good tech support and I am very happy with the laser. It is simple to use once you navigate the first time set up. Amazing tool and produces amazing fine details.

I was so excited prior to the arrival of the machine, and when it arrived I delayed the set up due to work requirements. Once I was able to set up the machine, I could not get it to mark, after trying to find the problem and looking at the video suggesting the probable cause, I tried to align the beam to the mirrors. Only to find the laser assembly loose and missing securing bolts. After calling and texting the after sales department and no answer finally I received a text back with some options. It's been almost 3 months since the purchase and still have not completely fixed the issues. From the cooling system to the correct starting point of the laser head, even after re-setting factory setting.
