I am very disappointed in Montblanc. They make nice pens. I bought a Leonard Bernstein ballpoint pen. The pen is beautiful. But when the cartridge ran out, none of the ones they sold, fit. So I cal... See more

Appalling experience
I was given a pen as a gift and it was brand new. Used for the first and only time a few days ago.
The pen was expensive but the ink cartridge was clearly faulty and the quality worse than what one would expect in a $2 pen. The sales woman at the Castlereagh street shop accepted that the pen was not writing as it should.
She replaced the ink cartridge, and this was all I wanted but rather than apologise for the fact that i had to spend time returning their faulty product, said that I would have to PAY for the replacement cartridge.
Completely astounded and speechless at this company and customer service.
Poor service - Bought a leather back-pack in 2019
Bought a leather back-pack in 2019. Barely used and still looks new. Small front zip pocket zip broke today. Went straight to Bond Street store. Told cost would be £294 and take 12 weeks.
I thought such a luxury item would have items like zips guaranteed for life, especially when obviously well cared for. Warranty only lasts 2 years I was told - nothing they could do.
I have bought so many Mont Blanc items over the years - pens, sunglasses, belt, cases and bags, aftershave, watch, key rings, jewellery,
No more. This is terrible customer service toward a loyal client. If I had spilt paint on my bag or ripped it then that would be fair to make me pay for repair. But not to cover zip repair when all I do is open and close it - is ridiculous.
Shame on this brand - I shall be going elsewhere from now on as the after service is so poor.
Bought husband a fountain pen for Xmas
Bought husband a fountain pen for Xmas. Delivery etc was excellent until we tried to use the pen and it did not flow smoothly. Basically I couldn’t write my name without it missing letters. Literally 10 phone calls and two months worth of emails, in addition to me sending the pen back overseas and I finally got my refund. Had I not mentioned the ACCC and “goods fit for purpose” clause, I’d still be waiting for a resolution. Avoid at all costs.
Bad Customer service - do not by a watch!
So I was gifted a Mont Blanc Summit watch to the tune of £750, some years later (about 3) outside of the warranty the watch was not holding the charge. After first making contact with Mont Blanc I asked about a repair which they told me was not possible because it was the first one and these cannot be repaired, this is their policy. I took to a specialist watch repairer who has said the same thing. I was offered a 25% discount on a new version which of course to me is an insult, as we know premium brands such as Mont Blanc are making way more than 25%, I was prepared to pay for the repair however it is not possible. I would recommend that you do not invest in a watch from Mont Blanc and maybe just stick to what they are known for, writing, I now have a very expensive paperweight! Thanks Mont Blanc for shattering my expectations of such a premium brand.
Three months later, no news about repair
I've been waiting three months to hear when a fountain pen will be repaired. I'm told about a new system, which as a customer is no concern of mine. Montblanc care about sales, it does not care about service and because of that, it does not care about customers.
Expensive, but poor quality and poor service
I bought a backpack (over £1,000) and the zip failed. Took it back to Bicester Outlet and they agreed to repair.. this was 4 months ago and still have not had the bag back or have any idea when it will be ready.. just a lot of excuses. Dont buy, quality is not there and customer care is terrible.
Luxury brand, rubbish service
Mont Blanc online is an appalling service. Ordered two rollerball refills was charged £10 for the “courier” and two weeks later they arrived by post from Bologna. When I complained the customer service response was basically rude. I have many Mont Blanc products dating back many years. Never again.
Bought a Christmas gift for my brother…
Bought a Christmas gift for my brother a very expensive pen and ink. Paid for next day deliver so it would get here in time for Christmas. Parcel arrived a day late and when I opened the box the pen wasn’t there only the ink.
Reported that same day and just keep being told they are investigating with UPS. The box was perfect and sealed the pen was not inside.
Was told they would investigate which could take 10 days we are now over a month and they just keep saying we are investigating no update or information until Friday when I finally got an email from Javier saying he has pushed for an answer on the investigation I will have an outcome on Friday or Monday. We are on Tuesday still no update or refund of my £550
Exceptional service from MB Bond Street
I have recently been dealing with Alby and Dan in the London Bond Street store, for some purchases and nib exchanges. They are both excellent people, extremely knowledgeable and amazing at customer service. Reading these reviews, it looks like MB centrally needs to polish up its act, its systems and agree how they manage pens that are genuine, newly bought but don’t have a stamp in the warranty book.
However, as a long time fan and collector of Montblanc, my experience with Alby and Dan has been faultless.
Worst service
Ordered on their website and paid for express delivery. The item is for a birthday gift and they just cancelled the order with no email notification.
Terrible company, can't believe it they give such poor service in the luxury goods market.
Arrogant Staff
Disappointed regarding a recent visit to Montblanc store in the UAE. While I have always held Montblanc in high regard for its quality products, the level of customer service I received during my visit was less than satisfactory.
I visited with the intention of purchasing a product. Unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by the behavior of the staff, which I found to be quite arrogant.
Montblanc needs to train their staff
The poorest "luxury" customer service I have received (8 months and watch still not repaired)
I have been dealing with the Bond Street boutique between April 2023 and December 2023.
My watch was originally sent for a repair in April 2023. It is now December 2023 and I still do not have the repaired watch. It has been sent to the Hamburg centre 3 times:
1) Incorrect contact details were taken by dismissive staff members in April. I was therefore uncontactable until I reached out to them in October to ask where my watch had been. The watch had been returned to them unrepaired in June.
2) Watch was again sent for repair. The staff lodged the incorrect paperwork and the watch was instead serviced (not the required exterior repairs). I went to collect the watch in December only to find it in the same exterior damaged state it had been left in.
3) Watch has now been sent for a third time to be repaired. No offer of compensation by staff despite being asked what they would do to make this shocking service right. Instead they said they would "raise a complaint" and now charge me for the watch servicing they accidentally gave my watch.
Truly shocking customer service for a luxury goods provider which I, and members of my family have spent thousands on. Needless to say this has broken all trust in the brand.
Montblanc Service is of the poorest quality encountered for luxury goods.
Montblanc Service is of the poorest quality I have encountered with any luxury goods supplier bar-none!
Ordered (10256366) personalised STARWALKER pen 29th of November 2023. Now 13 December 2023 and the goods are not received. No communication from Montblanc to explain/apologise. I was informed by Montblanc 4 days excluding weekends to service the order. Completely ruined the purpose for the purchase.
terrible customer service - lost order
terrible company to buy from. 3 weeks and my order has STILL not arrived. they blame UPS courier for losing the order, but offer nothing by way of refund or replacement. buy another brand as MONTBLANC simply do t care about customer service
Poor after sale service on faulty pen
We own several pens, went in to the Leeds store for ink, cartridges and to report a faulty pen.
The store didn’t have any of the ink or cartridges and we were asked to order it on line.
Regarding the faulty pen, we were promised a call back from the manager, this never happed.
We visited the store 8 days ago and had to pay £10 postage for ink and we still have a fault pen.
Very disappointed with after sales services
Terrible service
Terrible service, the notebook that I ordered a week ago has been delayed twice, I waited in all day today again to find that it is now going to be delivered next week.
woeful service, not what I am used to with Mont Blanc.
DO NOT buy from Montblanc
Never been so disappointed. I bought an expensive pen for my Dad's 70th and it arrived with no ink despite it saying ink was included on the website. I contacted them and was told they had no ink for us and the only option was to return the item which I did. It then took 3 months to get a refund. Will never purchase from Montblanc again.
I am a frequent customer of Montblanc
I am a frequent customer of Montblanc. I ordered a luxury pen for a customer and needed it with overnight shipping. I reached out and asked Montblanc if I ordered the pen and selected overnight shipping if it would get here by 4 the next day. The lady I spoke with said, "of course if you order between 9am-1pm, unless unforeseeable circumstances like the weather". I ordered the pen at 9:15 am, and paid $30 for the overnight shipping. I never got the pen in time, so I contacted UPS. UPS informed me, that Montblanc, did not drop off the package until 9 pm, missing the deadline for overnight shipping, which was at 7pm. They had 12 hours, knew the situation, I PAID for OVERNIGHT shipping, and they told me I wouldn't get it for 3 days. I just think for a "high end brand" that's absolutely unacceptable. How are you going to offer overnight shipping and CHARGE for it, but then are just too lazy to drop if off. They know the cutoff time. Unacceptable.. Will never buy from them again.
Bad customer service
Bad customer service.
Address was wrong in the AWB.
Bad customer service. Address was wrongly input by them but insisted me to update DHL myself instead.
And no remarks box for online placement.
Insisted me to place remarks when ordering.
Buyer beware! Mont Blanc suitcase has been in the shop for nearly 6 months waiting for parts
Buyer beware! Used to love their products, but I've soured on the brand due to a recent customer service nightmare. I bought a carry-on suitcase that had quality issues with the extendable handle from the get-go. When the thing finally jammed in the lowered position, I contacted Mont Blanc customer service and was referred to their authorized repair depot. I sent in the suitcase in March 2023. To my surprise, the roll-aboard has spent five months in the shop "waiting for parts from the supplier." Mont Blanc refuses to say when the repair will be complete. Needless to say, I was forced to buy a replacement suitcase and will not be buying any Mont Blanc products ever again.
