Terrible experience with such a huge…

Terrible experience with such a huge brand.

I've got a mont blanc ball pen that i recieved as a gift a couple of years ago. The small metal band holding the top of the pen together with the rest of the pen got loose and fell off. Now the top of the pen keeps falling off due to the error.

I went to my local AD in Denmark and they sent it in. I waited 2,5 months to hear anything from the company.

The answer; To fix it it will cost around 180 euros. Then pen itself is around 250 euros.

If I don't want it fixed for that price, I have to pay 90 euros to get it back. Absolute horrible customer service, for a pen that should be able to last a lifetime for the price.

Based on this I will not recommend Mont Blanc pens to anyone.

Outside in the rain

They leave people standing outside in the rain already 15 minutes for ‘health and safety reasons’. I counted 2 people inside at Montblanc Amsterdam PC Hooftstraat. What a disgrace

I made an order online, and received whatever they would give.

I made an order online from montblanc singapore. It was for engraved pens, i also indicated it to be gift wrapped and i typed a message for each pen to be printed on the card. I mean these are all options during ordering stage.
I received them all not gift wrapped, and the gift ‘cards’ were actually flimsy draft paper printed with my message. I expected much better from montblanc. It was horrible and embarrassing as a gift. If it was at the store, i would have at least had a better chance at a gift wrap. Rubbish service.
I wrote to customer service during my order, to remind them about the gift wrap and also maybe a little post it to identify the gift belonging to whom. (I had 3 identical gifts for 3 individuals). They responded, 3 days after i received above rubbish…

Zero star

I wish there was a way to give a zero star from me.
So disappointed with this company. I ordered a belt, paid extra to have it delivered the next day. After it didn’t arrive I contacted the customer service to be told it must be on the way they will update me. After calling every day to find out where the gift is I got an email a week later to say the belt has not left the warehouse and it’s OUT OF STOCK!!!!!!! Shocked… I will never buy from montblanc again WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

Where to start ,,,It was just a very very good experience with the staff at Mont Blanc outlet, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai. Mr. Amit is such a pleasant personality ,so hospitable and patient throughout my purchase. I had been there to get a wallet for my brother in law and guess what obviously chose the wrong one! it was difficult to exchange as I was on vacations to India.And while I was in India we liked one wallet from their collections in Mumbai outlet. Amit made sure he got the same piece requesting the management for shipment. And I could finally replace it with what we wanted. I feel so grateful and thankful. Keep doing such great job...
Thank you Amit and whole team of Mont Blanc for making my experience so wonderful!!

Absolute Scammers

Absolute Scammers, I bought a $1500 smart watch which failed after 6 months and was replaced by another which failed 6 months later then nearly 2 years of asking for what I paid for only to be told its out of warrantee( because took them too long to get back to me) now asking me to pay $3.5k more with a discount for good will as long as i return the "Faulty Watch" total I would have paid over $5k and still no idea if it will even work after another 5 months so no , rip me off blind Kate from Kent street. If you did your job in March this year I would have had it replaced why wit for September to tell me its out of warrantee.

I’d give ZERO stars if I could - ordered a pen as a present for my brother and it came visibly scratched. After dealing with the most unprofessional staff I’ve ever encountered, sent the pen back but 2 months later I still didn’t receive a refund. Appalling customer service and got also scammed of £200

Terrible Product and Service - Watch

My wife bought a Montblanc 1858 watch for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Within 6 weeks of wearing the watch, it had lost an hour and the automatic function failed. It went back to Germany under warranty and was returned with the same problem. 2nd time back to Germany and even worse, a screw broke in the mechanism within hours of me wearing it stopping the automatic function. 3 times now and it has ruined the sentiment. Customer services was shocking. I asked for a replacement of the same calibre or even a new movement. The answer was no and basically it was take it or leave it. I honestly do not want the watch but am stuck with it.

Mont Blanc Ball Pen Ink

This is specific to Mont Blanc ball pen ink, it is horrible. It bleeds and leaving pen ink on my fingers, the paper and my table. My fingers have lots of dots of ink from the bleed, even in high school my fingers are not this messy with ink.
The ink also left marks my pen which I hv been taking very good care of because of the price! I even bought a pouch for the pen. BUT because of the bleeding I stop using it. I can't enjoy the pen because of the bleeding ink. The ink will end up somewhere and I will end up cleaning it.

The worst customer experience ever

A damage product, a terrible service in a store in Portugal, more than ten e-mails and contacts with customer service, a Portuguese phone number where nobody speaks Portuguese, three months waiting for a contact, and Montblanc simply don't care, they ignore all the contacts and don't even deign to answer. Completely finished to me as a brand to consider, and the worst customer service I have ever known

1 is even too much

I bought a briefcase eight years ago for a considerable amount of money.
Two months ago the padlock incorporated with the briefcase didn't open, despite the combination was right... First I had to go to a blacksmith because the briefcase was full of documents and I wanted to avoid the data breach. They opened the lock but they said that it was impossible to repair.
So I went to the assistance asking for a new padlock piece. Well, the Montblanc retailer sent the bag to the main Assistance in Florence; they asked euro 318 for the repair and then they sent the bag back in 10 days.
Very efficient, I said...
Unfortunately the new padlock was different, bigger in size and ugly. The original padlock was missing.
I said immediately that I didn't want that, of course I asked for a replacement with a new identical padlock.
I could phone the assistance in Firenze: they in a very aggressive way told me that I don't understand anything and that the new piece, although different from the past one, is indeed an original Montblanc and that the client is not always right.
I was horrified but I answered saying all I had to say, demanding my original piece back.
Well it seems that the original padlock was put into the bin right after the new one was mounted. Another operator dared to say that it's their politics why they fear the counterfeiting: as we client could copy their products. I told them that I don't know anybody willing to copy a padlock which break by itself.
I got furious when they said to me that the two padlocks are very similar one to another and so I was really exaggerating, and that they could "offer me" the repair free of charge. I didn't collect the briefcase so far...

I had the worst customer experience…

I had the worst customer experience ever. I purchased two pens for a combined sum >£2.5k. I asked for broad nib, they said that they couldn't change the nib pre-sale, but that it was easy to do it post-sale. After I purchased the pens, they told me that I couldnt return the pens to have the nibs changed directly to Germany because of Brexit (I am based in the UK). I returned the pens to Montblanc boutique in London. They took another two weeks to respond. Finally, they said they wanted to charge me a further £325 to get the nibs changed and that it would take 12 weeks. The most appalling, disgraceful customer service ever. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS ORGANISATION. THEY DONT CARE, WHEN THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY.

The products are good but they use the most unreliable delivery company with horrible customer service. The contrast is startling and it makes the customer experience just awful. I can't believe how Montblanc are trying to cut corners and ruin their customer experience in this way.
