I can’t emphasize how hard it was for me to take the step to start therapy as a young man. However, I did and after the first appointment I was glad I did and very optimistic after the first assessmen... See more

So far I am happy with Karen, my therapist, and my appointment with Belen. They are professional and attentive. I feel they listen

Two weeks ago my therapist left Mood and I was placed back on a wait list. Yesterday I was connected with a new therapist and we were to meet today. Today they texted me to cancel. I was then booked with a third therapist in less than 24 hours and then when I went to cancel it, it read that I would be charged. Really?? I don't feel confident in Mood.

Absolutely awful from beginning to end. My PCP referred me to Mood health due to a shortage of available therapists in my densely populated area. I signed up online and immediately started getting badgered with emails from their support team twice a day asking for my insurance document. After two weeks of this I responded and asked them to stop emailing me and that I would get it to them as soon as I had time. Ellie responded with a hostile tone stating that if I didn’t get it to them by my first appointment they would assume I’m paying cash.
So finally my appointment comes and I join the zoom link to meet my provider. She was ten minutes late, that’s fine, I understand things happen. However when she joined the zoom she immediately had an attitude and was short with me. She explains that she’s a nurse and she’s going to do a psychiatric review. She asked if I had signed up for psychiatric services or counseling. I told her that I was under the impression that this was for counseling. So she immediately suggested that we end the session. I was uncomfortable at that point due to her attitude so I agreed despite having waited weeks for this appointment.
That was last night. This morning I check my email and there’s a charge for the session. This doesn’t make any sense, since my insurance doesn’t have a copay for in-network psychiatric or therapy appointments, and Mood was definitely in-network.
I’m guessing she charged me a cancellation fee, which is ridiculous since she suggested we end the appointment.
The whole thing was ridiculous and not patient centered.
I work in the mental health field with people who have psychiatric diagnoses and I am shocked at the lack of trauma informed and patient centered behavior from this service.
I can just imagine how triggering this would have been for someone who has serious psychiatric symptoms.
I wouldn’t suggest this service to anyone.

Fantastic customer service and response times, intuitive and very useful client portal, clinicians are kind and genuinely care for the well-being of clients, and are responsive to messages.
I received no help from mood. The person who contacted me on zoom Maya Carroll from mood just evaluated me briefly and acted as if she was going to prescribe me medication then at the end suddenly change the course of the conversation and said you know what I'm going to need some more blood samples in order to prescribe you medication. But instead she just emailed me a list of psychiatrists in my area. She flat out lied to me just to get me off of the zoom call. I have been on antidepressants for the past 20 years and she knows this. Yet she flat out refused to help me. And just tossed me aside.

The service provided is consistent in messaging for confirming appointments, offers remote consults which saves lots of time, and response time for any message is short. Excellent.

I am so grateful for having this service available. I would have had to wait 6 to 12 months for a local therapist. They were able to schedule me within 2 months for an initial visit and placed me on their cancellation list, which shortened that time in half. I enjoy seeing my therapist. Sometimes, I just need to be heard, and he understands.
Easy to to get started and extremely kind and caring people.
Mood health--the support staff and my therapist--made starting therapy feel affordable, easy and approachable. I was burned out and overwhelmed and worried about the cost of therapy, but knew it would help me. Mood worked with me to find the best rate and it has been very affordable. Scheduling is really easy. I was nervous initially about committing to a weekly session, but my therapist suggested an every other week appointment that I can cancel as needed. It has made an incredible difference to talk to another person. I leave each appointment feeling validated and supported, with ideas for areas to work on, and approaches to think about situations that I would have never considered. I am very grateful for Mood and a much less anxious and overwhelmed person due to my sessions.
Linda stays interested and engaged in my mental health. She provides relevant and expert feedback. I am very pleased to have her as my councilor.
I find that my therapist us a good match. I feel like she understands me and is able to relate to my specific latinx issues. On the other hand the scheduling is really far apart. I can only imagine how many patients she must be in charge of. I don't have my next appointment until a month from today. Ideally, she tells me, we should be meeting 4 times per month. So that's why I feel like I cannot give any higher rating

Maya has been so compassionate and competent. Appointments have been simple and I feel like my care is being managed well!
Linda has an amazing ability to make me feel comfortable sharing information.
I’ve had a good experience. Everyone has been professional and friendly and most off all very helpful.
I feel heard and understood. Also, affirmed and validated with compassion. The help and support is caring. I feel better each visit. The correct medicine has helped me gain my life back. Plus, I am given feedback or tools that provide a way forward. Lastly, she is very knowledgeable, knows mental illness and what works. I am very grateful.
Mood delivers exactly on my needs. Very accessible and reasonably priced compared to traditional Healthcare methods.
The automated systems for appointments, forms, etc. are all easy to use. I like that everything is done via email instead of an online portal. Not sure it's the best from an infosec perspective, but it's definitely convenient.
Overall love the service, hope it continues to grow and more verticals in the medical field adopt similar practices.
Greg and I discussed my PTSD symptoms and events that caused. How I’m dealing with that in daily life and my sleep disorder.
Greg is a good listener and asks insightful questions and offer excellent suggestions.
