My wife surprised me with this for my birthday and honestly it changed my life. I'm 68 years old, had bad knees, figured my riding days were completely done. Got the TK1 Folding and within a week I was back to riding around the neighborhood three a week like I used to. The stability is what got me - you don't realize how nervous you get on two wheels until you try three wheels. The pedal assist is incredibly smooth, never jerks, and I can control exactly how much electric help I need. This trike gave me independence back.

Electric bike
I received my Mooncool 3 wheel bike from Fed X already 95% pre assembled. It was delivered very quickly & in a huge box. I am 70 years old & I must say I had a little apprehension about riding it without flipping it over. After starting out very slowly & just pedaling with my feet, I gradually worked my way up to cruising around with full electric power. It was an awesome experience with the wind blowing through my hair & keeping me cool as I rode all around my neighborhood! I would definitely recommend this bike for getting exercise & enjoying the great outdoors!

Mooncool responded to exchanging the battery that
I was sent the wrong battery for my bike.
TK1, I didn’t realize the folding bike battery was a different style than their non folding bike. They were very responsive to my situation and allowed me to return it and they will be sending me out the right one. They Emailed a label for me to ship it back. All their customer service representatives really helped me a lot and I really appreciate them and Mooncool for the great service they provided. I’m definitely looking at buying another great product from them in the future!

Great old lady ride
Love the the bike. It’s easy to ride. I am 72 I feel safe even at 15 miles a hour. It feel stable.
Only negative think I had to go buy nuts and bolts they were missing.

Good quality trike
Good quality trike, shipped securely and arrived in good condition, properly packaged and protected. Assembly instructions are a little incomplete in some respects, but YouTube helped. Love riding this trike. Good power, awesome to get around on.

I love my TK2 folding trike
I love my TK2 folding trike! I put a hitch with a ramp on my van and I take it with me everywhere. The video by mooncool for assembly was excellent as well as the printed instructions. It’s very easy to use. The two baskets are super handy! It would be nice if there were an insert for them so things wouldn’t fall through. The charge on the battery really lasts a long time!

I paid the extra shipping protection…
I paid the extra shipping protection and both boxes were in perfect shape. no beat up boxes! Well worth it. Trikes are packed extremely well. Assembly was easy, with only one issue of one back tire being really wobbly . Had the tire trued and no more wobble. Other than that everything was perfect.

Bought the Tk1 Folding Trike as an…
Bought the Tk1 Folding Trike as an early birthday present, went on (1) test ride and the throttle immediately gave out, along with the left pedal coming off from my 20 minute use. I crashed pretty bad. Went in to a repair shop in my town, ended up being quite a bit of money to get the threading properly done on the trike pedal. Should’ve only been worn down like that from long-term use, not first day. When I went to put the battery in, it’s now completely not working with error codes. 1 light crash and the battery’s done? Unfortunate. I’d be returning it, if I cared to go through all the hassle.

TK1 is a great product
TK1 is a great product! A couple glitches putting it together but customer support was able to assist. There is a bit of a learning curve at first. The bike definitely has some get up and go! The more I ride the more comfortable I feel.

Perfect - just perfect!
My TK1 e-tricycle was ordered directly from Mooncool, and arrived very quickly indeed. It was superbly packed - so much so that it took quite a long time to get through the industrial level staples and tape. Each component within was meticulously packed to prevent any damage or scratching at all.
I am not an assembly person, but a handy friend put the machine together in less than an hour, following the manual. (Note: some people have found mounting the rear mudguards tricky, and one simple video tip was to remove the rear basket before attaching the mudguards - my friend had no problem, though)
Some superb extras come included with the TK1. A very well tailored cover, a net with clips to contain items in the rear basket, a water bottle and holder, a pair of rear-view mirrors. Only one mirror is usefully mounted though, as the space on the other end of the handlebar is taken up by the control panel.
In addition to all of this, I was sent a seat with a back, unsolicited, and I felt I could have been given the choice rather than waste delivery charges and a redundant seat.
I did purchase the lock - which is superb. A long heavy metal chain covered in toughened fabric.
I am of the "senior" demographic depicted in the advertising, but my son took it out for a spin and found it hugely enjoyable. He will be riding it often, I am sure.
It took me very little time to get used to it - first lesson: you don't put a foot down when stopping. Just stay sat!
I live in a very cycle-unfriendly town, where the few cycle lanes that exist are riddled with potholes, but I felt very stable and confident riding my TK1.
My maiden voyage was a ten mile round trip and was a huge pleasure.
I cannot recommend the Mooncool TK1 highly enough. the sense of freedom from the car to do local errands, to enjoy the air, to exercise the legs. You have to move your legs, but there is no resistance, so no effort. Perfect for someone who sits far too much at his desk.

The box arrived beat up and a piece…
The box arrived beat up and a piece broke through the box and is all scraped up. I am terribly disappointed in the delivery and the scratches on the part that is sticking out of the box after I was so excited about my purchase I was again terribly disappointed at its arrival. This purchase was too costly for the condition that it arrived in. 🥲
The team at Mooncool reached out to me concerning my disappointment and was willing to replace what ever was damaged, but as I assembled the electric trike I discovered that even though there are parts that are scratched up, it has not taken away the functionality of the trike. I am looking forward to getting it out on the road with the new accessories provided by Mooncool.
