I purchased an MX5 NC from Adrian and the buying process was good, after taking the vehicle I noticed immediately there was issues, the vehicles alarm did not work, the left front wheel bearing is gone, the front tensioner needs replacing, rear bushes all need replacing, but most of all in the headlight is flooding full of water (not misting full on puddles) which has resulted in the headlight motor failing, this would of been fine if some of these would be repaired (especially the headlight as it’s an MOT failure despite it having a fresh MOT from Moorsides garage of choice) After contacting Moorside several times on email and phone calls I have been persistently ignored, I would avoid purchasing a car from Moorside if you need any after sales or if anything goes wrong with the vehicle, it’s extremely disappointing as I chose to support a local business and it has resulted in being completely ignored.

Absolutely top class, first rate business. I took my new car to them covered in hard tree sap. They cleaned it up like brand new and not expensive.

Bought a BMW 325i Coupe from this garage. Not less than 30 minutes after driving home, a loud squealing sound was coming from the engine. Due to the holidays I wasn’t able to return the car immediately.

I had a diagnostic carried out at a bmw specialist, and the amount of faults found was ridiculous. One of the rear tyres was buckled, and tyre showing the cords because of this. A major fault with the Vanos system, which caused the car to stall while moving, cutting off power to the steering. The coolant system contained only water. All front and rear lights were showing as faulty.

I was quoted £2500 to have all issues addressed, but with strong advice to not consider this, and take the car back instead.

I am now £186 down for the diagnostic check, and £70 down for the tank of petrol I put into the broken car.

3 stars given because returning the car was easy. No argument ensued, and I was refunded the full purchase price without any issues.
