Poor Delivery Service

First of all the delivery people did not call ahead they were coming and then they could not find my address, I could not understand them. I have many Spanish people that I know and work for me and have no trouble understanding them. They left their truck in the driving lane on West Devils Lake Road with no flag or anything else. They then brought the furniture up the 100' driveway into my home. My address does not show up on Google Maps. I would not have been able to help them anyway as they don't understand. I ask the driver to speak with the person that was helping him and never got to talk to him. With these people it is a point and shoot delivery. If I ever purchase something from Mor again will make sure they use a different white glove delivery service.

Our recliner stoped working 3 weeks…

Our recliner stoped working 3 weeks after the purchase. We even bought an extra warranty and they have been finding every excuse not to come
And fix the recliner…

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST

Don't Buy from Mor

We were so happy to purchase the exact couch we wanted. BUT before the year was out, the USB ports were no longer working. And before the 2nd year was out, nothing worked. No reclining and no foot rest. When the repair person came to look at the couch, he said, "they will need to replace" this couch. No person from the repair section, called to discuss replacing or repair. We called again then following month and We were told it would take 3 to 4 months for the repair. Four months later we were told they were checking on the part. Five months later we were told they were checking on the part. Six months later, the person checked while I was on the line. She said, it will be early in 2 more months. So we have no usable couch. I told them they should order from Amazon ..... it would show up in one week. Purchase from someone else.

Their mattresses are junk

I purchased a mattress from them and got extreme sciatica back pain after sleeping in it for 4 days, I paid $1,200 for this mattress and I called them to see if they could exchange it for a firmer mattress, there is no Comfort guarantee after you pay them, I would not buy a mattress from them if I was you.

Wow what horrible furniture this place sells... My wife and I purchased several pieces of furniture for our home 3 months ago, what a mistake. Do not waste your time and hard earned money with them

DELIVERY IS A SCAM

DELIVERY IS A SCAM. They drove up to the house and parked in front. I moved my van to make room on the driveway. They were eating so figured they were taking a break. My mother in law missed a call that they supposedly couldn't find the address and it will cost $100 to reschedule the delivery. We went outside to talk to them but they drove away. They looked at us but just drove off. We have video evidence of when they parked, the phone call/voicemail that claimed they waited 15min (lies), and them driving off ignoring our attempts to wave them down. SCAM!

Will not back their products

My brother bought a couch and paid 1700.00 with a 1-year warranty in November 2022, but after 6 months it broke, we called MOR Furniture and when they sent out a person to check it out he told us they had cheap furniture and this is a common thing. They told him they would order the part in November 2022. He called every two weeks and the excuse he got was it was on back order. When he asked what he was supposed to do they told him not to use it well ok you buy a cough and not use it so he had a 170.00 decoration. Well moving forward and several phone calls they text him not call him in April 2023 and they are coming out for the couch, wow 5 months later they get the part. When they came, they were rude and asked him what was wrong and after he told them they seemed very annoyed and told him they would only take the bottom half. Ok what was he supposed to do with the top. Does not make since, then they had the nerve to tell him since he has dogs which majority of the world has sometime of pet. That he had to have his couch professionally cleaned and sanitized for disease mind you he could not use it since November, and they did not tell him anything about this in the text or on the phone when he called them several times. Are you kidding me they walked into his house dirt cloths, dirty shoes, and gloves sweaty has been at other people houses either picking u or dropping off and NOT wearing a mask and they have the nerve to tell me they might get a disease from his dog. I think this was just a scam for them not picking it up and fixing it. Now he has a couch that he cannot use. They will not refund his money nor replace it because he was told they don’t make that couch anymore due to this problem. So be very careful what you buy at MOR FURNITURE WARRANTY THEY WILL NOT HONOR IT.

I just tried to make a claim using the…

I just tried to make a claim using the furniture protection plan that was sold to me at MOR. My claim was denied due to accumulation of wear and tear. My claim is for a cracked chair regardless of the normal wear and tear on the rest of the table. They denied my claim on a cracked chair because the table shows signs of use?

The furniture protection is a scam and I am not pleased with how they are handling the situation.

Take your money somewhere else!!

$12.2k of Tempurpedic beds, i know !

Bought $12.2k of Tempurpedic beds with which we were told we had a full 90 day return policy to which when we decided we couldn’t get on with it, after 45 days , we gave it a good try, we are told no that only applies to the mattresses not the bases. When we bought this was not mentioned to us, we had to sign half a dozen pieces of paper accepting a whole bunch of stuff when i paid for the beds and not one of them mentioned the 90 return policy was for the mattresses only. Should i have asked if the return policy inc everything ?? Good question, maybe i should have, but when you are told you have a full 90 day return policy you take it for granted it covers the total amount spent. I feel a little like we are taken advantage of. Why would i spend $5k on bases I couldn’t return… When called about this and my wife spoke to corporate, they told us the store manager could make an exception and she would ask him to call us back. No call for nearly 48 hours, then a message left saying he was looking into it. Then i called a couple of times and left a message with someone asking him to call me back and when i had to call again as id had no call, the store manager Harrison tells me he has to get that approved by someone else, contrary to what the lady at Corp had said “ it is the store managers decision” I asked Harrison if this was just a run around to delay things and get us to go away, in fact i may have stated it felt like i was being given the run around to delay everything, maybe Harrison on going on holiday and thought it best for someone else to deal with this, who knows, I would think they have this problem all the time as if we were not told these facts then i am sure others have experienced the same issue. So they are going to take back the mattresses only leaving me a good $5k out of pocket, no offer of store credit or exchange for another mattress base, crazy to think how a company can get away with this when there is nothing signed agreeing to this from the customer. This is my story of working with Mor, i hope your story is a better one. The one thing I will say is this, why would anyone spend thousands of dollars on something they have no idea they are going to enjoy sleeping on with no possibility of liking the said item or getting a full refund. It makes absolutely no sense. So now to call my CC company and see what they can do as we were not given this in writing and ever signed anything detailing this half hearted ( literally HALF of what i spent coming back to me ) return policy. Shame. Really.

Lost a 20+ customer for life!

I was a 20+ year customer until I bought a whole houseful of furniture. Please note I have bought many houseful (living, dinning, bedrooms) all at once but this time again I asked if all was in stock as that's all I buy. It was to be delivered 04/2021. I called in March to schedule deliver to find out that my Kitchen table was still on back order, I said noooo it wasn't because I asked the sales person if they will hold all my Kitchen, living, bedroom and he said yes. It turns out they sold my 3300.00 kitchen table and I had to wait months!!!! then had to wait on what I call a church pew bench another couple of months. I can't believe they sold my product after I paid for it. At the time of buying all this I looked to verify all was in stock, and yes it was. Never again! They lost a 20+ year customer to Ashley Furniture. I have spent 10s of thousands of dollars with Mor Furniture

Abysmal Customer Service

Saturday I had defective product delivered to my house.
This is kind of damage (and just covering it with paint) in terms of refurbished products.

I told the white glove delivery if they put the price to refurbished then yes but not paying premium new price for refurbished looking product
They said they couldn't and took it back labelling it as "refused service"
That's not how that works.

The "text" support was outrageously not helpful.
My wasted time and disarray of my home is not helpful

Abysmal Customer Service

Earliest day they could resend for white glove deliver was tuesday.
Had to take PTO day off from work to be present for the home deliver and set up.

Management informed me they inspected the items so that there wouldn't be a problem

So took pictures and sent it back
Didn't want to do business with them at all and requested full refund with a managers phone call and/or e-mail address what happened.

BUYER BEWARE/CHEAP MATERIAL/NO REFUNDS

I purchased a couch in Aug 2021. By June 2022 there was a tear in the seam as well as fabric piling. So I contacted Customer Service. You have to use a text service to reach out to them. days go by.
The soonest appt to send a man out who has been working with them for 25 years.. was in late August. The man came out with his sewing kit.( what a joke) Now because he has been working of them for 25 years.. He's loyal to them. He told me.. the process: Check this out.. they access the damage, take pictures, he then informed me. that once the vendor has the replacement fabric they will come to my residence and take the piece with them to fix.. This could be months that I would be out of a couch or part of my couch missing. It is now a week before November.. I have waited 2 months for some vendor to find my fabric.. in what country??? This is very frustrating... I am so disappointed. I waisted $1300 for a cheap couch.
Buyer Beware: MOR Furniture does not allow returns. Once the item is taken from warehouse.. ITS YOURS.. NO REFUNDS> NO EXCHANGES..NADA..HOW CAN THEY STILL BE IN BUSINESS..

I am very unhappy with MOR furniture…

I am very unhappy with MOR furniture and customer service. I bought a cabinet to match the tv console I have. It's a good thing I didn't have it delivered
because it was a $60.00 charge. My daughter and I brought it home, we got it in, unwrapped it, and it was damaged. Took it back and waited for another one to arrive for pick up. Well, I have been back 7 times maybe 8 and each one was damaged or made very badly. Customer service has been asked to do an inspection at least 3 times. It didn't happen. One time the one I sent back was the same one sent back to MOR. I am going to cancel my order and am done with MOR furniture, sad because I really would have like to have the cabinet.

I wish I had have looked at this review before I purchased anything from Mor. This was one of the worst purchases I've ever made, and that's a lot of purchases. If you feel you need to buy from them, make sure you pay attention and read all the fine print, if it's given to you. I've been shopping for months with other stores, and this is the only business that won't give you a refund. I had the chair for fifteen minutes when I asked to return it. The chair was totally wrong and unacceptable once it was in my house. Furniture isn't cut and dry. The worst part.... almost, was that the salesperson wasn't honest about our conversation, when there was conflict. Enough said because I could go for quite a long time. Please save yourself anxiety and stress and don't even walk in the door. Plenty of really good options out there. I wish I hadn't been so trusting.

Wonderful experience with Ashley. Quality furniture!

We worked with Ashley. She was most helpful and we felt no-pressure to buy. What an asset to have as an employee! We purchased a bedroom set, kitchen set, and dining room set from her. All were delivered within a very reasonable amount of time and her communication skills are top-notch. She kept us fully informed by text message.

Next time we buy furniture, we'll be buying from Ashley. She made us feel like valued customers!

The furniture we received was well-made, sturdy, and we are delighted with the quality. White glove delivery, assembly, and placement were included and all of the delivery staff was polite and so nice!
