One star is even too much

One star is even too much. I applied to them for legal representation over 2 months ago and from that time onwards it was always me that had to contact them - no communication from them whatsoever. I even explained to the receptionist that there was a court case coming up and that I needed to speak to someone and even then… nothing, no response whatsoever, I have to say that they are the worse solicitors I have ever come across - very unprofessional indeed.

Disappointed with communication and progress on our family law case

We chose Morgan Wiseman Solicitors for a very serious family law matter — applying for a Non-Molestation Order and a Prohibited Steps Order to protect my partner and child — expecting prompt and professional support. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.

From the outset, communication has been poor. We have had to chase them almost daily by email because they rarely respond with clear updates. The replies we do receive are vague and unhelpful.

Our case has been with a paralegal named Afsana, who manages our file. Tasks that should be completed immediately have taken weeks to progress, with no transparency as to why. We first contacted the firm on 16th December, and as of now the important court applications still appear not to have been submitted. A matter that should be dealt with urgently — and normally within 48 hours — has been left pending for far too long.

We made a formal complaint to her supervisor, Keisha, on Monday, and it is now Thursday evening with no acknowledgment or response.

We also applied for Legal Aid, which should have triggered emergency funding and prompt action, but this has not been handled properly or speedily.

We had high expectations based on other reviews, but our experience has been one of poor responsiveness, slow progress, and lack of urgency or respect for the seriousness of the situation. We truly hoped to resolve this without leaving a negative review, but feel we have no choice to highlight how dissatisfied we are in the hope of prompt action and resolution.
