A dangerous obsession...
Morris Works continues its dangerous campaign of selling beautiful fabric to people who absolutely do not need any more fabric. I came to browse, like a sensible adult. Ten minutes later I was panic-buying metres of gorgeous print and several entirely unnecessary ‘other bits’ because I became irrationally concerned they might go out of business if I personally didn’t support them.
Excellent quality, lovely service, and apparently a direct threat to both my self-control and storage space. Highly recommend, unless you enjoy having disposable income.

Your reviews continue to make us giggle, and this one was no exception. The idea of panic-buying fabric out of concern for our wellbeing is genuinely one of my favourite reasons anyone has ever given for placing an order.
I’m delighted the fabrics and service are continuing to live up to expectations — although I’m afraid I can offer no reassurance whatsoever regarding self-control or storage space. Those seem to be common side effects around here.

First class in my books
I have just received the most carefully and beautifully wrapped parcel. This item was a simple fat quarter of linen but it felt as if I was opening the most expensive of precious gifts. Pressed fabric, enclosed in crisp tissue paper protector and an sturdy outer box. A company that takes this much care on such a simple item is first class in my books. A wonderful discovery for lovers of fabric
I discovered Morris Works Quilt Shop whilst doing a general search for fabrics. The web site offers a variety of filters so your search can be specific to your requirements. There is a vast stock of fabrics and other sewing accessories, so you are spoilt for choice.
On the day I made my order my computer had a problem which meant that I could not make a payment. So I contacted Morris Works and spoke to an extremely helpful member of staff called Gabrielle. She reassured me that if I continued to have a problem she would take the order over the phone so I could promptly receive the material. Excellent customer service.
The order arrived via Royal Mail and delivered as stated on the order confirmation. The contents was wrapped in paper and sealed in a cardboard box all of which can be recycled. The quality of the fabric is excellent (100% cotton). I will definatly use this company again and recommend it to other crafters.
