I have bought several different fabrics…
I have bought several different fabrics from this shop and the quality of the fabric has always been excellent. Its always beautifully wrapped with sturdy paper and little stickers on the paper that make me smile when I come to unwrap it .It makes it an enjoyable experience.

A good selection of fabric
A good selection of fabric.
Can wait quite a while to be served as only one area for cutting and what you buy is all noted down by hand and then entered into computer, which seemed laborious, but actually it was helpful as it means you get an email receipt showing all you have bought inc pic of fabric and name, as well as quantity bought....which is really helpful as a reference if you need to buy more, which I do...and can place order online!
Avoid parking in nearby road, cost me £10 for 2 hours!! Better to park and walk (you could park in the old King Alfred leisre centre and walk along the front) and I heard others in the shop recommending getting a bus.
There was a class going on while I was there too.
The website is really good and also includes helpful info.
Check opening hours before you go as not 9-5.
