I worked with Dylan and Freya and found it a good experience. Was struggling to get a mortgage being self employed, Dylan sorted me out with one straight away at the best rate compared to the other companies I was talking to.
Freya chased on the status of my mortgage and kept me updated all through the process.

Kristy and freya are an absolute dream team!
We had been refused mortgages because I hadn't been self employed long enough. We contacted new wave and they got straight on it, and we've just received our mortgage offer!!
Both ladies were so polite, friendly and patient, we can't not fault them what so ever!
They work on a no win no fee bases, but i tell you now they will win!
Their prices are very fair and worth every single penny.

I cannot recommend New Wave based on my experience with Dylan Bassi
I initially had a good discussion with advisor Dylan Bassi. However, after submitting my documents, the service deteriorated significantly. There was no acknowledgment for days, and my follow-up calls were ignored despite promises of a callback.
Dylan then asked for information I had already provided, indicating my documents weren't reviewed properly. When I followed up again, his response was rude and dismissive, telling me he had "other clients to see" and couldn't "speed up the process."
The lack of basic communication and professionalism has been incredibly frustrating. I cannot recommend New Wave based on this experience.

Dylan requested initial documentation from you on 24th July and followed up with you weekly to understand when you could provide the documentation required to assess your file and find you a suitable lender to meet with your requirements.
Dylan received the documents from you on 28th August and responded on 1st May to seek clarity on various aspects; aspects significantly pertinent to obtaining the level of finance sought and placing your deal with a lender that would be supportive of your circumstances. At this stage, we were also still waiting on your credit file. You provided an explanation by return email to Dylan on 3rd September yet did not provide the credit file that remained outstanding.
It was on 4th September that you had a conversation with Dylan raising concerns around the service and timescales and it was explained that as a company we have a process to follow (to ensure satisfactory due diligence of files) and to ensure placement to the right lender offering the best level of finance.
I am sorry that the timeline for completing our placement and due diligence did not meet your expectations.

Perfect service start to finish!!
Well, what can I say?! The team at NewWave have been incredible from start to finish!
They answer every call, correspondence is immediate and all information is so clear.
The patience and empathy shown from the team here is invaluable, never making you feel like your questions are too small or you're wasting their time.
Using a mortgage broker isn't the easy way out. You pay for security and world class service. It's quick, clear and they take care of most everything for you, telling your story and taking the stress away.
Debbie and Freya, have worked tirelessly, every single day making us feel like we're all that matter. Even Dan their solicitor has been super speedy and on it!
My partner and I put an offer in on a house on July 12th and received our formal mortgage offer on August 22nd!! Of course we won't receive the keys for a few weeks but I couldn't hold back on this review. We couldn't have asked for better support.
Thank you so much, we won't hesitate to recommend this service, to use it again and I already feel like the remortgage will be a walk in the park.

No automaton machine or anything like that. I was speaking to the sharp, crisp and switched on Mr Callum Smith. Just what I needed. Callum took me through all the preliminaries. Once they were all in place, I was then passed over to the lovely Ms. Debbie Brooks who is also sharp and switched on. Debbie smoothly took me through the rest of the process. Debbie and Callum were with me from start to finish, right down to the congratulations card I received from them for the purchase of my new home. Callum and Freya have been amazingly helpful with our mortgage application.
We are both self employed and with changes to the tax system our scenario didn’t seem normal. A local mortgage broker gave up on us but these guys pushed through with ease and competency.
They did cost a lot more than the original broker quoted, but that broker didn’t get the job done. Callum and Freya so actually worth it!

Speak to New Wave first
I spoke to two credible mortgage brokers before New Wave and hit a dead end, almost giving up hope. Within a week of contacting New Wave I had a mortgage offer with a great rate. If you’re self employed, save yourself the pain and speak to New Wave first and, if you can, speak to Callum. Thank you New Wave!
