An expired best before date does not mean that the product is old in any way. 🙌 A best before date is simply a label that acts as a guarantee from the producer that the product is of exactly the same quality as when it was manufactured. 🗓 It does not mean that the food will be unfit for consumption afterwards. In fact, food can keep for weeks, months and even years after the best before date has passed. How awesome is that? 🤩

Great Choice of Unusual Products!
Great choice of products, some are unusual that I have never seen before. Great choice of gluten and dairy free treats for my stepsons. Some products are a real bargain, but I do find some cost about the same as they would at a supermarket.
It's best to check the use by date before purchasing, some items are slightly out of date, but they are still good if used straight away.
Service is good and delivery tends to be quite quick. I will say my last delivery was not the best, the box was completely wrecked, but that is down to the courier and not Motatos.
I would definitely say it is worth taking a look at Motatos, they are always getting new products and they often have some really good deals available.

Great first time experience but may not be for all
First time using Motatos so not sure what the expect as I knew some items would be out of date. Out of the 5 items ordered 4 where out of date but only by 4 weeks but saying that it was a 'best before date'. Living in Wales we have a huge extra tax on alcohol, the alcoholic item I purchase in Wales is £5 but paid £2.65 nearly a 50% saving (this item 4 weeks outdated). There is a £25 minimum spend and a £2.99 delivery charge but still worth paying. Yes they could do with more items available to purchase on the site and some items costing the same in your local bargain shop so may not be for all. Delivery arrived within 4 days with excellent packaging. I have just made my 2nd purchase so hoping to see this experience is as good as the first.

Order didn’t arrive in 3-5 days at all
Order didn’t arrive in 3-5 days. It took 8 days to arrive. Sent by courier who didn’t leave it. So it was returned as I was away and I now have to wait for my refund so not a successful order at all. Had I known the order could take that long I’d never have placed it before being away.

I found items that I normally don't pick up at the supermarket at interesting low prices. It encouraged me to try different things. Placing the order was super easy and they delivered it when they said they would. I do recommend it indeed.

Slow but sure
Don't order from Motatoes if you're in a massive hurry, but it's great for getting in cupboard staples - cereals, cooking sauces, etc. Excellent value and a good idea, we do a big order every few months.
