This company is horrible!
Stay away from using this company from any shipments. They seem to think they can just deliver anytime they want instead of confirming when someone will be available before attempting a delivery. After specifically telling them we are not open because of holidays they still chose to try to deliver and blame us for not being open. Asking them specifically to deliver on days we are open with no response. When we did receive a response it was with rudeness and unwillingness to help resolve the situation.
There is absolutely no way to call them or contact their customer service in any meaningful way. Will never do business with this company and ask all our suppliers to stay away. They are perhaps the worse freight company I have ever seen and had the displeasure of having to work with.

Multiple cancellations for delivery with no apparent reason . Received one call to verify if we had a forklift for a Tuesday delivery. We adjusted our schedule to accommodate the so called scheduled delivery only to receive an e- mail minutes before the promised delivery.
It has been 4 days in a row !
You will receive a “ do not reply e-mail “ , there is no option for contacts or updates .
This company presents a flashy website and that is the only highlight of this organization.
I will be following up with the appropriate complaints to any and all agencies that I can reach, inclusive the United States Department of Commerce , BBB and Franchise Board .
In today’s business environment, this particular company has “ 0 “ concern or customer centricity .
The multiple negative reviews are not by mistake they are real !
UPDATE :
Even though the negative experience with Mothership was real and frustrating, aligned with other reviews, a positive resolution emerged.
Communication is a key component to solving a problem. Upon receiving a call from Mothership ( by a real human ) for confirmation of a revised delivery date, I requested to speak with a Supervisor to which I was informed to expect a call back, which I obviously was extremely skeptical.
Within minutes, I in fact received a call from Mothership Support by an experienced and professional representative “ Rhea “. In discussing the issues and venting frustration with Rhea, she proceeded to explain the root cause of the multiple delays , confirm shipment, provide a contact number for further follow up in an efficient an customer centric approach in addition to apologizing for the company, advising that she would escalate my situation with upper management, “ stellar individual “ whom Mothership should retain and adopt her follow up process …. I would hire Rhea on the spot if available!
In addition , I received multiple calls from Mothership management “ Connor “, in an attempt to learn / listen to my complaint so that corrective actions could be taken.
With many years of business experience, I’ve heard many excuses and stories that deflect responsibility. This phone contact and extended conversation was far from such expectation, Connor was apologetic and interested in listening to my particular experience with Mothership, offering background information specific to my shipment …. No excuses and no BS, definitely acknowledging the issues with all complaintants and an offer to implement measures and solutions that will allow end users a better escalation path and contact with “ real people “ at Mothership.
Based on the interaction I had with Rhea and Connor I will be giving Mothership the opportunity with outbound freight from our company, following the tradition of “ everyone deserves a second chance “.
I look forward to writing a positive review for Mothership understanding that they need to improve on customer interaction and follow up.

I will never use mothership, driver always bounced again and again, and they never say sorry about your time wasted and missed delivery. And they will put your shipment back on board tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow.... Don't trust their service and waste your time and money shipping with them.

I really love the concept of this business and think it has a lot of potential. That said, I’ve experienced multiple issues with shipments, which has been frustrating. On top of that, they recently introduced a monthly minimum fee, which I find unreasonable given the inconsistencies. I genuinely hope they work out the kinks, because it’s a great idea that could be amazing with better execution.

These criminals “lost” half of my entire shipment and refuse to take any responsibility or even respond. You’d be crazy to do any business with these awful people. Check the reviews before you get ripped off too.
UPDATE: I’ve been asked to expand on my review. Here’s the story.
TLDR:
Mothership gave my incoming shipment to some unqualified moron to deliver. The shipment was “lost”and never delivered and Mothership was completely unreachable, by any means, to find my shipment or to take responsibility for losing my property. If you are okay with trusting your business to some unreachable computer program that gives your property to any random guy with a truck and won’t help you in any way, this is the service for you. If, like me, you don’t have time to deal with this kind of incompetent bullshit I’d advise you to avoid dealing with Mothership at all costs.
The whole story:
I have been in business for many, many years. I send and receive shipments every day. My experience with Mothership was with a driver who called to deliver a shipment from someone I had never heard of in India, saying the shipment consisted of pillows. The driver was told there must be a mistake. Shortly he sent a photo of the cartons and we recognized the sender (not pillows and not from India). In any case the driver was told that the warehouse could receive the goods up until 5 pm, after which there would be no one at the warehouse. The warehouse manager waited for this delivery until 5:45 and then had to leave to pick up his child. The driver finally called at 6:15 and asked to deliver then. He was told that there was no one there and to come back another day.
The driver called even later the next day asking to make the delivery. He was, of course, informed that would not be possible. After a few more days, a little, over half of the shipment was delivered and that was all we ever received. What follows is months of stonewalling, lying, dodging any responsibility and stalling. The rest of the shipment was “lost” and we still have never received it.
I eventually got the original forwarder in China to take partial responsibility for my lost goods. But the icing on the Mothership cake is that, after six months, the replacement shipment was just dumped behind our warehouse with no call, no warning, no notice of any kind. It was just dumb luck that someone noticed the shipment out by our dumpster before it all got stolen again.
Throughout this process, Mothership was and is absolutely unreachable. There is no way to communicate with Mothership by phone, email or text. Does this sound like a company you would ever want to deal with?

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with both ABF Freight and Mothership regarding two shipments that went missing. Despite the claims of both companies, neither has been able to provide a clear or satisfactory explanation of how the goods disappeared.
ABF Freight has repeatedly stated that the loss or damage of my shipments falls under their limited liability terms, and that’s it. No further compensation beyond the minimal amount is being offered, even though they have no proof for why the shipments went missing—just vague explanations about misloading and a fire. This feels like a convenient way to avoid taking full responsibility.
On the other hand, Mothership, the platform that arranged the shipment, seems to be pushing the responsibility back onto ABF Freight. They’ve acknowledged the limitations of ABF’s liability, but the way they’re handling this feels like passing the blame around.
If you’re using Mothership or ABF Freight, be aware that their terms allow them to avoid full compensation in cases like this. This situation raises serious concerns about their accountability and how they handle losses. If you're not careful, you might be left with nothing while they dodge responsibility.
I trusted this service and even recommended it to others, but now I regret that decision. I’m left with lost shipments, frustration, and no real recourse. Please, do your research before trusting these companies with your shipments.
Wacky adjustment charges. All of a sudden they are charging me wacky adjustment charges that do not make sense.
I was using them on a regular basis and will probably go to Freightquote since they are more professional
We've shipped close to 10k worth of freight with them for our company and a little over 10% of that cost is for adjusted charges. All disputes lead to nothing. This is ridiculous and I've never seem this in this industry.
Stay away from these guys at all costs, please.
Wrost company! Do not trust these people with your shipping needs. Stay away!

I opted into the site, said sign up in 60 seconds, got a call within minutes, asked hundreds of questions on my logistics activities, LTL, FTL, daily, weekly, information about the carriers I use, rates, lots of questions for at least 15 minutes. The rep then set up a Google Meet with Tom Snyder, from Austin, TX tom@mothershipcom who proceeded to ask the same questions and why I was signing up, I can't say how many times i repeated "cost savings" "I got referred by another trading partner" "i want to save money" instead of signing up my account, instructing the portal, and the best part this young buck out of college had the nerve to say seem like you don't like answering questions!!?? I then asked why all the questions I don't need to get a deposition, either ask for my bank statements, business credit, or references but this approach and tactic is unprofessional. As soon as I started asking questions the young buck hung up on me like the kid and unprofessional company this is. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO MOTHERSHIP LOGISTICS!!!
