Ian was very thoughtful and gave me very good constructive feedback. I was able to elevate my essay from the first round to second round of edits. I would definitely use this resource again.

I was nervous to use a service to help with my application and essays because I felt unsure how helpful they could really be and I did not want to be told to make a bunch of revisions when I was already happy with what I had. I'm glad I got their advice because it made me feel more confident in what I was submitting, seeing as many of the editors have admissions committee experience. They were also super kind to make sure I received the services in time for my deadline.
I would definitely use their service again for secondaries and interviews!

What I loved about MotivateMD was that they still allowed me to have my own voice in my writing. I also preferred the chance to work with different editors, some who knew different medical school more than others. My secondaries felt very tailored to each school, and was why I feel like I received 11 interviews from all MD school despite having a lower MCAT score. I worked with Natalie, and she was AMAZING! She always made me feel comfortable and hyped me up in times where I was feeling under-confident and overwhelmed. I had three mock interviews with Rachel and felt extremely well-prepared for all of my 15+ interviews. It was comforting knowing I was able to answer any question with confidence and had resources to answer unexpected questions as well. It was also helpful getting constant feedback and preparing for both the virtual and in-person settings.
