Iulia was very empathetic with our situation/request and did everything she could to resolve it and obtain a favourable outcome for us. Bad experience, don't recommend it at all
I booked back in 2024 with this travel agency a motorhome, they charged me 536 sterling pounds for 2 nights and with two days before our trip they requested me on WhatsApp a copy of my licence and the counterpart being in Northern Ireland. Next day they requested me 3000 pounds as a deposit because I have 6 points on my licence. Told the rental company that we need to postpone the trip for another time, maybe next year as few points will expire. Now in 2025 I requested to rebook the trip and I was informed that is not possible anymore as cancellation fee is not refundable. So I just gifted 536 sterling pound to a company which offered me no service at all! Never ever again!

As a general policy, any amendments must be requested and approved before the scheduled pickup date. Otherwise, standard cancellation terms would apply.

When the service contact does everything right
I was disappointed that the first camper I had tried to rent turned out unavailable on the site.
But a day later, I was contacted by someone who helped me out tremendously even when availability seemed to run scarce.
Every question I had was quickly answered, if not via phone, via email.
When his suggestion I received was no longer available as I was working,he looked further to fit our needs
Later, I also received another email to say that the camper we had our eye on turned available again.
Keeping a close tab on the live fluctuations of various offers.
That night I noticed my driver's license had broken in pieces.
Rendering it invalid.
I was looking for solutions but hadn't contacted him about it as I was still at work.
A day later, he asked me if we had decided on anything which is when I mentioned the problem.
He suggested he would contact the company and find out wether they can still accept it.
The company asked him if I could send him a photo of the state of my current license. I also added a scan I took previously so he could have a proper depiction as well.
Me and my girlfriend had a lot of stress about this is. We thought that the plans we had made wouldn't be possible. Or worse, arriving there and still having to pay a percentage of our booking without any possibility of renting the van.
I am really grateful for his active roll and finding something that checked all our boxes on such short notice.

Will use Motor Home republic for future trips
I have used Motorhome Republic for a previous trip and had excellent overall service. For the current trip I had to cancel everything at short notice due to my medical event. I received a partial refund as per terms and conditions. The only negative comment I can make was the delay in acknowledging my claim and giving updates. I do intend using Motorhome again to do my planned trip
