Motorola won't listen , they treat like I am stupid
Motorola will not listen to me, I have begged them for months to sort out the issues effecting my phone. The suggestions on twitter arnt working and I feel like the team are not taking my problems with any respect. I also think there not taking into account I have medical apps on my phone like Libra 2 plus diabetes sensor. I also have heart apps and asthma apps that are malfunctioning which are crucial to monitoring my health. I am wheelchair bound with tubes coming from chest to help keep me alive. They don't seem to care about me and how a faulty phone effects my life. It causes great stress and I get horrendous migraine because of stress and there causing me. The amount of bloatware and uncontrollable app ads is destroying my enjoyment. I always had Motorola from my first flip w377 to this useless edge 50 pro. Your staff have caused me so much stress and can't seem to understand it has a big impact on my life. I asked fairy if for a swap if you do a pure android phone, you made the phone and still under warranty when I started telling you about the issue. I think your staff are being disabled descrimate and hoping I will go away.
To make it worse my phone is flooded with your ads that I can seem to stop. Your pestering me adverts on phone into buying the new edge 70
I want a solution ie either a refund 19 pound refund of my contract price x 24 months, or the new edge 70 6.7 inches but SIM free so it is more pure android.
I am not afraid to go further as your coming as made my life pure hell.
Absolutely Faceless - Years of loyal custom gone
I have used motorola radios, owned several motorola phones and also own the associated Lenovo pc's and tablets.
Since 9th Nov 25 I have been trying to retun my phone within the distant selling rules, faceless customer service no phone number. Countless promises of escalation to managers and promises of TNT collections.
26 days and todays snotty whatsapp chat will now see me going to the credit card company under section 75 but shame on you Motorola "Goodbye Moto"
Terrible service
Avoid this company. Customer service doesn’t reply at all. I wrote to them 3 times to try to return a phone without any response. Fb chat are useless as well. Also they change me £0,01 more than the order receipt. Already contacted with bank to claim a fraud.

Moto 40 neo not getting updated to android 16, phone is only 2 years old.
Trying to get you to buy a new phone to keep up to date absolute joke
Bye bye Motorola if this is how you treat your customers
Should be zero stars...
Should be zero stars.... Cancelled my order before delivery of the phone. I now have no phone or money.
Dozens of emails, no meaningful response besides the usual automated rubbish.
I must say in all the years I've dealt with hundreds of customer service teams and Motorola are by far the worst I've ever encountered.
Bravo Motorola.... You've even trumped the idiots at Vodafone! 🙂
Can't give a zero star review--Tried…
Can't give a zero star review--Tried since 14th November to get a return authorization and postage label, everytime my requests are being ignored, tried their Whatsapp chat and told on numerous occasions that my request is with the special team!!, contacting my Bank now to raise a chargeback, how can they continue to treat customers in this way?
Not responding to return requests
Not responding to return requests. I have been trying to arrange a return of an online order for a Motorola Edge 70 Ultra. First contact was on 15th November, I chased it a week later and now it is the 28th Nov and they haven't sent returns information or sent a courier to collect. I'm now having to contact my card issuer. You simply cannot ignore return requests.
Awful Returns procedures
Like a few other people on here, I have been trying to get a return authorised for over a week with the same problems... The returns and contact procedures are a joke.... Especially from a tech company! Initial form filled in said I would receive information within 24 hours which didn't happen and online chat as much use as a chocolate teapot.... Just told I must wait! I have never known a return process like it and was told they are busy! I am going to start up a complaint with resolver!
Motorola Moto G05 equals terrible phone…
Motorola Moto G05 is the worst phone I've ever been stuck with. I only bought in May 2025 but will be looking to return to Samsung in the Black Friday deals. The caller ID withheld doesn't work and I can't access Google Playstore ever without clearing the cache each time for example. It has far too much bloatware and apps independently change the permissions I've given them. Motorola and GMD have been my worst mobile phone experiences ever! GMD was sent back after opening so Motorola is marginally better but I'd advise to stay away from this awful brand.
What customer service
Tried to cancel order prior to dispatch as it was in correct, everyday I have filled a request form to request a return, spoke to someone on chat,.thought I'd sorted it out so still waiting for a return so.be sorted out, advisor ended chat quite abruptly as I was still messaging advisor, 10 days now and not a squeak so now as issue still not solved I will have to take it further and I won't do business with them if this is how they treat their customers
a little update, its now the 27th november and still no further forward, ive been told to be patient and wait abit longer which to me seems quite unreasonable so please avoid this company , its now 16th december and despite it alledgedly being esculated i am i still have this phone that i have been trying to return for 6 weeks. if i could give this company 0 stars or minus i would AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!
Is it a phone,NO it's a child's toy.
I owned a Motorola phone a number of years ago and it was great.
After purchasing a new one I have found it's nothing but a constant annoyance with game and social media updates and prompts for people who have no lives
Another toy manufacturer in an adult world.
Almost impressively poor customer service.
I ordered a phone directly from Motorola.co.uk. It had physical manufacturing defects. This should have been a straightforward refund or replace but their customer service team and policies are utterly, utterly deranged.
You can only contact them by either an online chatbot - which very occasionally and seemingly at random puts you through to what claims to be a person - or via an online form.
Anything sent by the online form is ignored.
Chats are maddeningly confusing. It's as if the person on the other end is a) mentally ill and b) speaks no English and is relying on a translation tool from the late 90's. If you can get them to agree to anything - difficult as they don't seem to actually understand that their company has any obligation to refund / replace / repair brand new, broken goods - they tell you it will be followed up with an email. If you're lucky enough to then receive an email it will say something weird and vague that doesn't really tell you anything and may not have anything to do with the conversation you had. Replies to this email will be ignored and no further action will actually occur.
Naturally, you return to the online chat to chase them up. The really fun part is that - and this seems to be the only thing all of their chat-lunatics agree on - each chat generates a new ticket, each has to be processed separately, and each additional ticket will slow down your case being resolved.
So basically they'll email you some nonsense once, do nothing, ignore any emails you send back and if you contact them via chat to chase up then that extends your wait (for a service that I suspect is never coming anyway). Schrödinger's customer service. I'm almost impressed. Whoever came up with it is an evil genius.
The only way you're seeing your money again is via a chargeback, so that's what I'm doing.
If you really want a Motorola phone buy one in a shop. Buying directly from a company usually has some perks but in this case your reward is being plunged into a Kafa-esque nightmare.
Great customer service
Any issue with phone was handled very good on warranty. Of course You have to send it to them (they pick it up from Your doors by DHL) and wait couple of days (3-4)to get it back, but overall its great service.
Infuriatingly poor customer service and returns process
I tried to return two unused mobile phones after mistakenly ordering twice resulting in me having four phones. All I can say is the process and customer service received has been shockingly poor. I was refunded for one of the phones after including two in the return shipment. I have been trying to get this rectified for 3 months now through back and fourth emails and calls. They have such a convoluted process for complaints and returns it has been infuriating being told to wait for a response from departments that you cannot speak to or email directly. I have used Motorola phones for over a decade now and this has really made me want this pair to be the last.
Website is a mess. Support nonexistent
I was interested in getting the new Motorola Edge 70 but my first impression of the company has been ruined by several factors:
1. While ordering, the trade-in process was not working. No matter what phone model you typed, no results appeared. I reached out to chat support and they said they will look into it and get back to me. No one ever got back to me.
2. They removed the trade-in option from their website. I tried ordering again, but then no payment options were available so checkout was not possible. I raised a ticket but no one got back to me.
In short, the website is a mess and support is pretty much nonexistent.
Awful phones and Customer service on the warranty team…
Customer service on the warranty team is a joke, the actual warranty isn't worth the paper its pdf'd onto! the slightest cosmetic damage (even if it doesn't cause the fault) means the warranty is void - even though it doesn't state that in the terms and conditions. Anyone thinking of buying a Razr, don't, buy a more reputable brand!
Motorola g86 5G keep away
Bought a Motorola g86 5G august Phones security update stuck on 1/5/2025. Looked at Lenovo community quite a few complaints in UK. Contacted Lenovo I'm expected to download thier tool fix program on to a pc (4.9gbs) and reflash a brand new phone? I don't have the internet use my phones data for everything. This is the 3rd Motorola I've bought and by far the worst phone I've had they know that there's a problem with firmware yet you are expected to sort their crap out any customer service is nil

Bought a Mobile g75 5g wanted to BUY an accidental damage protection plan.Tried to talk on WhatsApp got a useless bot just kept going round in circles , then got a message saying sorry we couldn't help !! The bot kept referring me to a link that I couldn't access but having read the experiences on here there seems no reason to buy it anyway as service is atrocious, a shame as this is my second Motorola.
Returning a phone should not be this difficult — shocking customer service
I’ve been trying to return a Motorola phone well within the legal 14-day return window, and the process has been an absolute nightmare from the start. There was no return information in the box, nothing on the website, and even getting through to a real person took far too much effort.
I finally managed to speak to customer service on WhatsApp — and even then, I was repeatedly fobbed off, stalled, and told to just ‘wait’ with no real answers. At one point I was even told “there’s nothing we can do”, which is unbelievable considering I’m simply trying to exercise a basic legal right under UK consumer law.
I still haven’t been given any way to return the phone. No address. No return label. Just excuses, delays and departments “checking” for days. Easily one of the most stressful and unhelpful customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
If this isn’t resolved immediately, I’ll be escalating to Trading Standards and starting a chargeback with my bank. Completely unacceptable.
