Motorpoint - Ipswich Reviews 

We hadn’t purchased a car from Motorpoint before, but we found one we liked at the Ipswich branch. We asked customer services if it could be delivered to our nearest store in Peterborough, but due to a delay with our chosen collection date, we decided to travel from Northampton to Ipswich instead.

On arrival, we were greeted by Ollie, who offered us a drink and asked if we’d like a test drive. We preferred that he drove, as we weren’t familiar with the area, and he was more than happy to oblige. His professionalism, friendly manner, and non-pushy approach made the entire buying process simple and stress-free.

The price customer services quoted for my part-exchange was accurate, with no haggling or last-minute changes. I can say with 100% confidence that the next car I purchase will be from Motorpoint. Thanks again Jackie & Ryan

Two star rating because this is the second car I have bought from Motorpoint and the its the second car that has had the panels drilled to fix a Motorpoint branded number plate. Drilling holes in the metal panel is an advantage for rust corrosion to take place before time and drilling holes in the plastic panels allows the number plate to flex and eventually fall off the vehicle. I find it so poor that your staff cannot perform simple measuring to fix number plates to the specific predrilled factory locations. The most recent purchase, the salesman was very helpful and it was a pleasure buying the vehicle, but technically your staff are performing damage to the cars your customers are buying, happy to supply photo’s of this damage.

As the last survey I filled in all management and staff extremely helpful and pleasant until I made a call to the office which I asked a question regarding the whereabouts of the car mats that seem to have been removed from the vehicle I have enquired 2 more times but with no answers. Very happy with my purchase but?

Five stars. Great range of nearly new vehicles to choose from at reasonable prices. Purchased 3 vehicles from Motorpoint in the past 3 years and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Everything from finding a car to buying it is so easy and straight forward at Motorpoint, thats why I always buy from here. Staff always friendly, Harrison was my salesman this time and he is a credit to your sales team, professional through out.

A combination of excellent selection of vehicles, an easy to use website backed-up with good telephone sales team, simple and low-cost transfer of our chosen car to the local Ipswich branch, good part-exchange process, availability of temporary insurance in-branch and a pleasant and efficient staff member, Harrison, who guided us through the process. In addition, a decent test drive on a mixture of roads to fully satisfy ourselves that the car was what we wanted.

The Ipswich branch, only open for 2 years, has a young team who were all very helpful.

As an old man, who has bought at least 15 cars over my lifetime I have never felt comfitable with car salesman.They have always adopted the "master and servant" stance with me being the servant.My experience with Motorpoint was completely different and ,surprisingly, a pleasant experience.I was treated as an equal,no pressure applied and all my questions dealt with quickly and professionally.Everyone I encounted from the car cleaner to the 3/4 staff I met in my 2 visits were friendly and seemed pleased to see me.The car itself on collection was well prepared and in line with my expectations.Top marks to all.
