While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

Motorspot buys scrap, damaged and end-of-life cars and vans across South Yorkshire from our own Authorised Treatment Facility in Mexborough. Get an instant price online at motorspot.co.uk by entering your registration and postcode, book a collection day that suits you, and we come to you — free of charge — within 24 to 48 hours. Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Sheffield, Wakefield and everywhere in between. We buy every kind of vehicle: MOT failures, non-runners, accident-damaged cars, insurance write-offs, vans, cars with engine or gearbox faults, and cars that are simply too old to keep on the road. No V5C? Not a problem — we can still buy it as long as you are the registered keeper. Payment is by bank transfer on the day the vehicle is collected. It is illegal to pay cash for scrap vehicles in England and Wales, so we never do. Our drivers check your photo ID and proof of address at the door, and the money is sent before they leave. Because we are an Environment Agency licensed Authorised Treatment Facility, we issue the official DVLA Certificate of Destruction ourselves. That certificate is your proof that the vehicle has been scrapped legally and that you are no longer responsible for it — no more tax, insurance or fines. Vehicles are depolluted and recycled to the End-of-Life Vehicle standards. Prefer to bring the car to us? Drop it off at our yard in Mexborough and we add a bonus to your price. Our team is local, small and easy to reach: call 01709 522656, email info@motorspot.co.uk, or sign in to your account on our website to see your quotes, bookings and every vehicle we have bought from you.
