I need to clarify that this isn't a tax we collected — it's import duty charged directly by DHL upon entry into the country. Because we ship from Slovenia (EU), orders to the outside countries
are subject to import duties, which the courier collects at delivery.
You may have noticed we display a clear notice about this at checkout specifically to make sure customers are aware before placing their order.
The notice says:
IMPORTANT NOTICE ON DUTY AND IMPORT TAXES
We ship from Slovenia (EU). Orders outside the European Union may incur customs duties/import taxes depending on your country's regulations. These fees are NOT included in the shipping fee and must be paid by the customer. US customers must pay a duty fee up to 30% per latest regulations.
We just want to be fully transparent on this.

A very committed customer service!
I made an order in 3 December and today 16 December I still have not received delivery. Their service provider GLS group is a disgrace. Whilst this comment is not about the product, they use GLS which is a dysfunctional company given that they have had my order since 3 December in Europe and since 14 December in Ireland for delivery to a Dublin address Mountaindrop are very responsive and urs appreciated, however they should review their deliver partners to enhance the experience for consumer. Mountaindrop did their very best to resolve my issues and it’s appreciated 🙏
