Rip off stole a valuable painting took 20 days to get my few things they didn't steal

Summary: this not a legitimate company. Do not use them.

After we arranged collection and paid a deposit months in advance, they suddenly stopped replying to emails a week before we were supposed to move, with no indication that anyone was actually comping to collect our things. So we were left stuck in a foreign country with a flat full of stuff and only a few days to figure out what to do with it. We ended up having a to pay another company almost double what we were originally quoted to have our things moved last minute. We only got a reply from Movewise weeks afterwards and had to fight for weeks after that to get our money back, after eventually threatening court action.

Their phone number gives a permanent busy signal, they don't have a website, and post sent to their address by gets sent back marked "addressee gone away", as in they either aren't really at that address, or refused to accept the mail.

From the reviews clearly some people have got lucky with this company, but it is absolutely not worth the risk.

Movewise helped me to move internationally. They were extremely fast, be it with their service (I got my things in just 2 days of collection) or with replying to emails and secure (with all the paperwork, contract and money). They respect your time and work accordingly.
I must say that because of Movewise, I shift has been the smoothest.

We decided to relocate to Jorox (Near Malaga) in Spain, as my partner and I hold dual EU and UK citizenship.

I reached out to a number of providers and the one provider that stood out against its competitors was Movewise! From the point of reaching out to them, we were assigned Elisia who was beyond helpful, considering we wanted a collection date within 2 weeks for move of a mixture of large and small belongings to Jorox. (Corner sofa, large TV's, garden furniture, medium totes and a large bed mattress - 2 bed house).

Aside from completing a few forms and an Excel spreadsheet to gauge your cubic metre / space requirements, everything was simple, no hassle or fuss and the responses on email from Elisia definitely gives you the comfortable feeling you need when your dealing with a stressful relocation to Spain from the UK. Our quote was confirmed, as was the collection day /time and week commencing delivery date.

Our collection from Stafford UK couldn't be faulted, they called ahead, arrived and were super friendly, polite and moved everything we'd already packaged up and ready to go! (We took our time with packing everything securely, bubble-wrapping all our fragile belongings and also added our delivery address details, as well as numbering every parcel / box / package for ease through UK and Spanish Customs.) **ZERO issues with customs, therefore I strongly suggest everyone does the same, as advised by Movewise :-)**

We arrived with our 2 dogs in Jorox, Spain and our delivery also arrived on the booked in date; Email and follow-up call confirming a time for delivery for ease and they actually delivered on a Saturday morning! The delivery team arrived on-time and again were super polite, friendly and were more than happy to off-load your belongings to any room as directed.

In short - do your research and use Movewise as the service they offer is cost effective, reassuring, as per our quote, no additional charges, no damages and the communication is excellent too thanks for Elisia.

Ps.. You'll note from my other reviews that I give honest, open and positive / negative feedback and my review is totally sincere. (I rarely take the time to provide full feedback, however due to Movewise providing such an excellent service, its hard not to acknowledge!

Pps. They used a well know service provider (contracted out) and I know some people have mentioned that as a negative, however we experienced non, whatsoever and I'm more than happy to share our experiences on email / call if you contact Movewise direct.

Excellent value for money, very professional and communicative, so helpful and reassuring, the delivery was scheduled with ease on both sides (picking up my storage and delivering), driver was great and brought everything up to my first floor apartment. Will definitely return as a customer for some remaining items I need to ship from the UK.

The worst experience my family has ever had! Elisia and Kirsty are just two girls sitting behind a desk with no control of the process. They sourced the cheapest and the most unprofessional moving companies and make you believe all it's ok by promptly replying to your emails, but at the end it's the move company that decides everything. We moved from Spain to UK, they had 10 days of delay, we paid for a dedicated service when it was not!, a lot of our stuff delivered were damaged! I hope no other families will ever live the same nightmare we lived. STAY AWAY from this SCAM!

Fantastic service from start to finish! My move from Spain to the UK was co-ordinated by Kirsty whose prompt, helpful and friendly customer service made my experience stress free. Big thanks also to the packing team in Spain and the delivery guys in Stafford all of whom were efficient and really obliging.

I Would recommend this company 100%.organizing.collection and delivery of our furniture was just so easy everyone we spoke to and had to deal with was communicative polite and helpful.I couldn't fault the whole removal .we moved from the UK to Spain and the lads that delivered in Spain were absolutely tremendous.the lady who cordinated it all (kirsty)was on the ball 24/7

We were moving items from France to UK, and honestly speaking were a bit wary about this supplier, as we didn't deal with them before. However, all our concerns were in vain and everything went super-smoothly - collected as agreed and delivered to us next day.

We dealt with Elisia from the company, and she was quick, flexible in negotiation and efficient.
The driver George young chap, who brought the stuff to our home, was also polite and accurate.

In summary, we're fully satisfied with the service and will happily use them again in the future.

I used Movewise to move me recently from Ireland to the UK and cannot fault them whatsoever. Kirsty in the office was super efficient, calm and kind - and really helped sort out the paperwork side of things. Conor and Tony the removal guys were great - I just knew my precious possessions were in the safest of hands. When they arrived this side to deliver they were patient but extremely productive. They really listened to my instructions and offered great advice on how to stack my boxes. I can thoroughly recommend!

They helped us with our move from Spain to Scotland and were excellent. Kirsty in particular was a delight to work with. She was very responsive, always accommodating (we had a few changes), patient, understanding and cheerful. Would thoroughly recommend.

Had a really good experience with Movewise Ltd. Kirsty was really responsive and helpful. Took the stress out of the move from Cardiff to Ennis (Ireland). The guys who actually did the move were nice guys and really good at their job.

I recently used Movewise to move some items from Switzerland to the UK at short notice. The service was fantastic, any emails I sent were replied to very quickly and with practical advice. Most importantly everything arrived safely!

I moved from The Netherlands to the UK. Kirsty was great at being the point of contact, and the crew who came in to pack everything were friendly and efficient. Now for the bad news: despite having sent them a video of the house and its exact size, the quote I received and accepted grossly underestimated the volume required to move everything (even though I had done a massive clear out). So I ended up having to pay a third extra on top of what had been agreed, which was not a nice surprise. So watch out for optimistic quotes: they're not very realistic!
