My stuff completely disappeared, no answer from Movinga

My stuff was picked up on June 20th from Berlin, and was supposed to arrive to Toronto within 10-15 days. But so far, NOTHING! And NO answers from Movinga either! I once managed to get hold to someone on the phone in Germany, and was told they will call back. But still nothing! Where is my stuff???? I see more people are going through the same, so legal action must be taken!

Where are my stuff ?

As all others persons on this blog,good sales ... They have taken my stuff on 17th of June, asked me some others informations (Passeport) on 29th of June and sent me the invoice the 12th of July.I sent them my credit cards info as they told me . I try to contact them many times after . I received at least an email the 18th to tell me only that it has been hold up with their carriers and to be patient. For the moment I still don't received anything. Where are my staff now ? Please Movinga contact me 56985547810 , I really need my delivery . NIGHTMARE

How to complain to consumer protection? 45 days Not received shipment to Bangalore,India from Hamburg Germany.

Hi All, Its been 45 days and I have no idea where my shipment is. They are no more replying to email from 25 days. It was agreed for cash on delivery , but yesterday I received email , requesting me to to pay through wire transfer. I said I will do it only after receiving them. After reading through similar experiences in this forum, Is there any possibility to complain to consumer court / police in Germany? Probably we all can sign the petition and complain.. As I'm already in India and I do not know German laws with this regard.. Is there anybody can share and help us?

Company not working in UK MOVINGA

Just found out after several weeks that MOVINGA no longer works in the UK. I had a provisional booking. Luckily I wanted contact in the 2 weeks prior to removal.to talk message After multiple phone calls- reply "no one available at the present time please email"

I sent multiple emails each coming back with a new response number, but finally I had to give up four days before booked move. Luckily no money paid over. So now the search starts again for a company to move me.

Please dont get caught by this company.

No contact with the company possible where is my shipment?

After much hassle about getting the correct customs forms for a shipment of my son's personal property to Australia from Ramsgate, UK my shipment has disappeared. I have tried to contact them about returning the shipment but no joy. The phones seem to have been disconnected in the UK and I cannot get through to Germany. I fear that my son's property is gone. Be very careful with dealing with this company. My shipment was picked up in June. and is supposed to make it to Australia in 4 weeks. I cannot believe this night mare is happening.

Great service at a great price

I must say a great service, I had to change my removal date many times and they accomodated perfectly and then the move itself was handled by two men from the north east which is where I was moving, they worked very hard and Movinga solved all of my problems by storing my possesions for a month between house purchases. The price was £1000 cheaper than the next best quote! I paid about £1950 for a move from London to Sunderland with storage for a month and I moved a four bedroom house, one London quote was £4500 not including storgage!

INCOMPETENT THIEVES - DO NOT USE

Warning do not use!! Contact was great when booking the job which was for my elderly parents who were relocating. A week before moving date radio silence (even though the contract states they will call you days before the move to finalise), I emailed daily as phone lines no longer working (UK office now shut). On the day no show (slot booked from 7am until 9am) with no contact from them what so ever eventually after numerous emails I got a call to say the company they were using had broken down but were on the way and would be there in 5mins, 2 hours later still no show no phone call nothing, they finally answered my emails and confirmed that the person had been ringing and leaving me messages - LIES!! I was then given the number of the company to contact myself which when you are paying £449 for a job they should manage, however at least I had a number and he confirmed that he hadn't contacted me as Movinga wouldn't give my contact details. Long story short he arranged for a local company to do the job which Movinga was more than happy to go along with so they could cancel the job and assured me the money wouldn't be taken from my account. My parents finally arrived to their destination 7 hours later than expected!!! Guess what a week later and they have taken the money out of my account and I can not contact them. Warning to all if you have booked them cancel the job before they do and then rip you off!! MOVINGA IF YOU ARE READING THIS GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND HAVE THE COURTESY TO REPLY TO MY EMAILS, I WILL TAKE THIS FURTHER IF NOT. i KNOW YOU HAVE READ MY MAIL HERE IS YOUR PROCESS NUMBER 00038445

Don't Trust This Company..

We booked 6 weeks in advance for a collection for moving it was confirmed by Movinga 1 week before the collection date then they cancelled the next day!!
No reason at all given....

No idea of where my boxes are

As many people below, I have had a good sales experience... (they still sent me the wrong number of boxes) but once the boxes were picked up on the 18th of June, they disappeared. I finally got an email on the 24th of June asking my documents, which I has already sent. Now I have no idea of where my things are and only know that the company has stopped operating in the UK.
I picked them because they are a global brand, and now regret my choice as never before. I have tried to contact the company they have subcontracted to, but that is also not working to date.

Movinga - WHERE ARE MY BELONGINGS??!

I have not heard back from Movinga for over two weeks - they collected my belongings on 23 May to air freight to Dubai and now I have no updates/email responses and press says UK is shut down completely - but where the hell are my belongings??!!!

This is extremely stressful as I have already emigrated and I have no idea how to locate all of my belongings - have emailed services numerous times - process number is 00035431. Still no response!!

Anyone know how we escalate this as I am not comfortable that they have my property and I have no recourse right now to locate it/get it back.

no reply and no stuff

they took my boxes on the 16th June and since then no reply to my emails or phone calls. really frustrating. I know now thanks to other reviews that the company has problems but anyone knows how to contact them to get my stuff?
Does anyone know how to contact with them to get back our stuff?

Worst company ever

This company were great with the sales side. Kept calling me to finalise and book. Fairly good prices. Then I booked the move and paid them last week after speaking again a few times with the sale person. A few days later I receive a general email saying that they will not work in the uk after the 27th June!! No one is answering the phones and or my emails (which a few days ago were answered within the hour!).
I'm sure they knew when I paid that 4 days later they would stop working in the uk!!! 5 days since that email now and I have emailed them every day and received no answer. Stay away from this company

Useless communication, impossible to get hold of

The sales person was excellent; gave me plenty of detail,and a good quote. Then i tried to call to finalise details. I was met with an answering machine evertytime over 3 days telling me thay can't get to the phone and send an email. Half a dozen emails later, only one reply saying i would be contacted shortly. 3 days after that still no contact. In the end I had to give up in frustration and find another firm that uses human beiongs to move my house. The worst and most inept service I have ever encountered.

Poor service

This company were great with the sales pitch but then sent us the wrong documents and there was no one to talk to at customer service. One person promised to call back and didnt and the other one said she could not do anything to help. No one replied to our emails either. useless! I would not use this company.

Great Sales, poor delivery. Someone at Movinga please call me now.

When my need was to organise a removal and get a quote at a good price, Movinga where great. On the day of the move it all went smoothly. Now our goods are in storage with them whilst we refurbish the new house, I need to move the date back a week but can I get hold of anyone at Movinga? NO. They now have an automated message on the phone lines that tells me to send an email, so I do, everyday, and no-one has responded to me. I even tried the sales contact Mathew Edney and he hasn't bothered to contact me either. So one of 2 things are going to happen. 1) Movinga are going to try to deliver to an empty house, good luck with that, I bet you call me then 2) they will read this and put into practice the great customer service they promote and call me back. My process numbers from your AUTOMATED customer service email system are 00032317, 00031482.

Aside from one man, a complete disaster

Mistakes were made across the entire moving experience from France to New York: First, a sales rep misquoted the moving price by giving us the price by ship rather than the price by plane. Second, a very angry and emotional mover made anti-American statements (we were in France), dropped multiple boxes, then attempted to lie about the damage. We actually had to take back our boxes from him and have a second pickup scheduled. Third, our boxes were nearly sent on a ship for weeks and weeks, rather than on a plane for a 10 day move as per our contract, which was caught only by the tracking device I put in the boxes and monitored their placement at Charles de Gaulle Airport for over two weeks. Fourth, our boxes were not delivered to our destination address -- we had to pick them up from the airport ourselves several days after they arrived. A week or so after THAT, the US branch of the moving company called in confusion as to why we had picked up our boxes. Maybe because U.S. customs told us to? Maybe because they were already 3 weeks late? Many reasons! Before I wrote this public review, I very carefully wrote about my experience directly to the company both in a direct email and in response to their follow up survey. I did not receive a response. I give two stars for our things actually showing up in the end. The only shining star in this company is Balthazar Renouard de Bussierre, he is great. If not for him, our items would surely be at the bottom of the ocean or in a pit of ashes. Unfortunately Balthazar is not the entire moving company and every other person made mistakes. Hire someone else.

Cancelled on me too!

No phone call, no explanation no nothing but they've cancelled right before I'm due to move. Nobody there seems to have a clue what's going on which makes me think they're most likely a dodgy middle man company. No doubt the inept "customer service team" will respond to me on here but they don't respond via the phone! Amateur outfit, wouldn't trust them one bit.

Cancelled on us days before move!!

Unprofessional, disgusting excuse of a company. Please do not book a move through this company Movinga because now we're not moving anywhere! They've made mistake after mistake, they've last minute added extra to our already agreed quote of over £300 to which we had to agree they then turned up unannounced 5 days before the agreed moving date and because we weren't ready for them they simply cancelled on us like cowards through an email hours later. It's disgusting and currently we have no other options to have our things shipped this week! This company has added so much more stress to my move I can't even put it into words

WOULDNT EVEN RATE THEM 1 STAR. APPAULLING SERVICE

Absolutely diabolical company. Booked to move our daughter from Bournemouth to London. All paperwork done and time slot booked for 18th June between 1&3pm. Our daughter tried to call them the day before just to check all was in order......no answer, lines just kept her on hold for well over an hour. As it was a Friday we thought this may be due to it being the busiest removal day of the week.
BUT NO!!!!!!!
Movinga never showed up with no explanation or anything. Our daughter starts a new job in London on Monday and is now left with the stress of trying to get her belongings moved to London in a day!
