Mresell.co.uk is a rip-off! Don't sell to them!

Macworld is the same as Mresell.co.uk

DO NOT SEND any items to them! They will RIP YOU RIGHT OFF!
First, I am not sure if all the reviews on trustshop are genuine, I tried to leave a review, it's impossible to do so!
I got an online valuation of £625 for my Mac book, sent it over to Sweden, then got a 'revised' quote of £425!! reason: battery failure!!! A total of £200 reduction in price for a Mac that is in MINT condition! If you want it back it's a £35 fee! so you either take the bullet or pay £35 and risk not having your Mac back in the condition you sent to them!

Either way, you are the looser!

DON'T be stupid like me! I was tempted by the high valuation!

Good company, perfect product

Bought an iMac from them a week ago and it’s been perfect, everything was in the box, was secured well and was delivered in 1 day as expected. Product is completely perfect (still bought the optional extra warranty on top of the 6 months just in case cause of the other review). Reliable company if you ask me, any problems and I will update on here :)

An excellent option for those wanting to spend a little less

I bought an iMac from this company a couple of years ago.

The price was very competitive and the machine arrived in good order and in good haste.

After 6 months I experienced a power supply failure. As the device was still covered by the mResell warranty I was able to return it free of charge, whereby it was repaired and sent back to me. Since then I have had no problems with it.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that mResell do not appear to have a functional phone line. When my machine broke, I was unable to contact anyone directly for at least 2 days. This resulted in some anxiety as I considered the possibility that I would be left to fix the machine myself.

Thy explained that due to the international and relatively small nature of their business, they have not yet set up a regular phone line. Personally when spending thousands on high end electronics, I want to be able to speak to someone on the phone when there is a problem. That being said, the prices are excellent, the they offer a wide range of apple gear to suit most needs.

I would certainly use them again

FAULTY COMPUTER REFUSED REFUND

I bought macbook pro for £800. It developed a screen problem after a few days of use. I returned product for refund. They refused to refund me as they stated that I had caused damage. This was false as damage was not caused by me so I am now £800 out of pocket and they have yet to return device to me.

i advise anyone buying a used mac to avoid this company.

Sale and purchase of used Apple products

Mresell buy and sell used Apple products. This review is based on a single sale to them, not a purchase from them. I got a reasonable price for a laptop. I might well have got more for a private sale, but this was was very easy and hassle free. They give an initial quote based on your description of the condition of the product, and its serial number, so you know in advance what you are likely to get, assuming you've given an accurate description. If you accept the quote, postage to them is free. In my case I got paid the same day they received the package, so no complaints. So if you've something Apple to sell, it would be worth seeing what they offer. If that's acceptable to you, it's a straightforward and quick way to sell.
