Took more than a week for Mr Fix to find an "expert" for me for a relatively easy job. Than it took another two weeks and two visits for an expert to tell me that he cannot do anything. I was charged around 400 euro for his hours and supplies, wasted three weeks, had to cancel working appointments to meet the so–called expert, and absolutely nothing was done in the end.
Independent expert I found locally fixed the problem in 25 minutes.
Would never use this service again and have no reasons whatsoever to recommend it.

Mrfix connected me with an expert. The expert gave me an estimate of 2 to 3 hours to complete the job. Then the expert asked to visit my place. He came for 2 minutes and left suddenly saying he had other appointments. Then updated his quote increasing the cost by 2390%. At the same time, the expert offered to give me detailed information about how to apply to a municipal subsidy that could help me bear the cost. Right after this, I was invoiced by Mrfix for 1,5 hours of the expert time. The invoice claimed it was for an hour visit (not the actual 2 minutes) and for time spent researching subsidies. I’ve asked many times after for the expert to share the information about the subsidies that I was being invoiced for but all I was receiving was threatening emails from Mrfix that I had to pay quickly or they would apply fines. This whole experience dragged into a month and a half. Today I’ve finally received a document with the information (the document was created today) and I’ve paid the invoice to get out of Mrfix’s business. I’ve talked once with their customer support, the person there was empathic and understanding but I remained invoiced for this experience. It seems like a legit business, one that I would love to use with trust - but all of my experience felt like a very long and sophisticated scam.
Be mindful, they profit by commission and they benefit from whatever their experts invoice the costumers for (independently of if any service was actually provided).
Absolute nightmare of an experience with this company.
Had an issue with a faulty tap in a hard to access place, they sent over an “expert” to fix the problem. Two months later I find it’s been leaking the whole time and water has gotten under my floorboard. Called them back again and was charged 400 euros to fix it.
They act simply as a middleman who connects you with a contractor, but if things go wrong they do absolutely nothing to assist you, instead you’re rudely informed that you need to figure it out on your own.
It’s possible that I was just unlucky with the “expert” they connected me to, but you’d be much better off just hiring someone else off a Google search with decent reviews since you have no idea what you’re getting when you use them.
I had a very positive experience hiring Abdul, a plumber that I found through MrFix, to repair and replace my leaking shower. Abdul was very professional and acted quickly, and using MrFix as an intermediary via WhatsApp was very convenient. Highly recommend.
Quick and easy installation of a cat net for our balcony -- the job was done well and coordinating was simple and clear.
Used to be reliable but now not so much. They send unqualified "experts" to your house, and when things are executed poorly/incorrectly they deny any responsibility in the matter. They will them pursue you for a bill that is completely unjustified based on the work done.
You are better off picking something randomly from Google then dealing with them. They add no value to the transaction, and are of no help in resolving any issuees that arise.
Hired an electrician, clear communication of time and job cost. showed up on time did work well and clean, I would recommend to anyone. Tops.
Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid Mr. Fix at All Costs!
I had one of the worst service experiences ever with Mr. Fix Netherlands. From start to finish, the communication was a complete disaster. They rarely answered messages or calls, and when they did, they never listen or read what I write to their whatsapp group.
They initially quoted me a price based on an estimate of 2–3 hours of work. That job ended up dragging on for three full days, for a task that should’ve been simple and quick. Not only was this a huge waste of my time, but when it came to payment, they suddenly quoted a different price altogether.
To make things worse, they kept chasing for the invoice when the job was not even done. The bidet is still leaking.
Even putting aside the botched time estimate and the sudden price changes, the lack of communication and support alone is enough reason to never work with them again. I had to constantly chase them just to get basic updates or answers. This company is unprofessional, disorganized, and careless.
Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Mr. Fix is anything but a fix.
Very bad experience. Kindly stay away. They do not have any control over the job performed via the service arranged by them. End of day they ask you to reach out to the person who performed the service. They just collect money and create invoice even if the work / reported issue was not 100% completed.
The last repair was to put a lock in my room and the expert could not do that.
Very happy with the platform in general and the experts provided. Have been using it for several years; zero complaints.
My last experience with MrFix. Stay away from them.
I've bought a new washing machine and it kept shaking as if an earthquake was happening in my apartment.
I've requested a specialist from MrFix to come. 115€/hour, which was a lot, but it was supposed to be an expert, so....
The expert stayed 15min, said "it's fixed", left before trying it and obviously, when I tried, it was not fixed at all. What was his reaction? "I need to change the floor and put cement, I need to plan 2 new visits"! Given this proposal, I first discussed my persistent problem with friends and colleagues. I quickly understood that the solution could actually be very simple: I just had to remove the transportation screws at the back of the machine. And yes, it took me 10min and now it works perfectly....
So, if I summarize: the so-called washing machine expert wanted me to pay him 3 visits, change the floor of my kitchen,... for something that was fixable in 10min! I have the feeling I got ripped off, and it could have been even worse, if I accepted the 2 additional visits...
MrFix is usually a good website, but this is the last time I work with them. Trust is broken.
Very fast service in times of urgent need!
Worse service I have ever experienced.
Needed someone to help me with a socket and 1 board at the office. The white board was so unstable that we had to ask someone else to fix it later. The socket took 3 hours as they messed up with the power. I got duplicated invoice afterwards and extremity poor service support. Literally the worse I have ever found.
If you are from the netherlands, there are more (and much better options) for this service than Mr fix. Do not waste your money and time. ITS A SCAM
I was so impressed by response. I made my request and 3 hours later someone was here and carried out the job to a great standard.
Thank you!
Get things done very quick and well. Smooth process. Excellent!
They don't commit the appointments. They didn't not show-up for the (same) appointment two consecutive times without responding to calls, messages whatsoever may be your emergency situation after giving the order. Having medical situation, they have restricted us not to use our bathroom area for 8 hours on both the occations but they never showed-up.
Most annoying part is, they drag you in to so called WhatsApp group discussions during weekends for their own craftsmen issues ruining your weekends and private time. You will have the contract with Mr.Fix and get the invoices from Mr.Fix but when any issues arises, Mr.Fix simply ask you to get it resolved by yourself with the craftsman and you end up in complicated contractual issues
