Poorly made mosaic tiles
I feel the delivery costs were too expensive but more importantly they glue holding the smaller tiles together is poor and some have fallen to bits plus the glue is bulging on both sides.

For deliveries we use a 3rd Party company, so we pass on the costs we receive. Due to the fragile nature of the goods they have to be shipped on a pallet which does mean costs are more than some customer expect.
With regards to the tiles, please can you send photos through to sales@mrs-stone-store.com and we can look into this further for you. We send 1000'm2 of this product every year with very few problems, so any feedback is always appreciated.

The piece of slate was great
The piece of slate was great. Very pleased. Delivery came fast and on time.
The delivery man was rude, we were advised to check the slate before signing for the delivery, the delivery man said if we opened up the package and there was damage then they wouldn't be liable as we had opened it up! He didn't even wait around for us to check. Turns out the slate was fine!

I ordered a slate hearth late December was told it would be delivered on the 12th January. Arrived on time The Hearth was well packed and the delivery driver very helpful.
As yet I have not unpacked it so can not comment on the product.

No quibble refund
I ordered a £13.00 stone floor cleaning product from the Mrs Stone Store website. Unfortunately, in error, delivery charges weren't added on when I ordered it.
When the company realised the mistake, they got in touch telling me it would cost £15.00 to have the product delivered; more than the price of the product itself.
They offered the option to proceed by paying £15 for the delivery or cancel the order with a full refund.
I opted for this and my money was refunded immediately; no quibble.
