Helping others so they can avoid the same scam myself and seemingly other reviewers fell for.

I ordered a pair of custom Jordans from her stall at the sneakerness 2023 convention. I foolishly paid in cash & was issued a receipt with the promise my order would be processed and shipped to me asap.

First red flag. She didn't get in touch with me as promised. I had to send an email the next week. She responded asking for my shipping details. I sent it to her and she has been radio silent for 6 weeks. Ignoring EVERY message.

Second red flag. I sent her a DM on insta asking about her delivery process. She responded because she assumed I was a fresh customer and was happy to execute a new scam. However as soon as I sent my receipt she's been radio silent for almost 2 weeks again.

I've reported her insta page as a scam to IG and welcome others to do the same. Scammers like this should not be allowed to take advantage of people.

TL;DR: Paid hundreds of pounds in cash, got no delivery, no communication from the seller. Nothing.

EDIT: This edit is made in response to the hilariously late and FALSE reply from the seller. She has made no effort at all to contact me or refund me and remains unreachable on all channels. I hope this helps someone else. Thanks

I don't usually leave reviews because I generally have positive purchases but this (company) is a next level JOKE! I took my son to a sneaker convention in on October the first and ordered a pair of shoes that he loved the look of, I paid cash and was told I'd get an email receipt within 24hours however that was not the case and still no delivery and in chasing through social media and email I have got zero response! I accept that I've been had but must warn others to AVOID !

Mrskicks UK is 10/10. I highly recommend collaborating with them on roadshows, events and bulk orders. I recently worked with the company on a UK and Ireland Roadshow. This was a important collab with a leading trainer & sports fashion brand where Mrskicks UK customised 400+ shoes and bags. The attention to detail was flawless and the creativity was on point with the brand. Would definitely work with them again!

Took over a month for them to just me start customising my shoes even though they said they would dispatch within 4 weeks. I had to get a refund via PayPal. Please avoid at all cost.

Went to sneakers show in London on 30th of September paid for a custom made shoes received the confirmation on my phone and guess what shoes hasn’t arrived 😠
Tried to contact her many times via mail, social media and just been ignored, messages been deleted basically my £200 went in her pockets without me receiving my goods i have paid for!!!

Just recently placed my order. I’ve in contact with MrsKicks and so far the experience has been pleasant. I accidentally ordered the wrong size and was recommended the correct ones. So grateful! I would of cried if they wouldn’t have fit. Looking forward to receiving my custom J’s.

My son ordered a pair of anime sneakers and he loves them I have ordered two more pairs for my son and granddaughter, quick response to questions and they show the design so you can pick and choose what you want they are Xmas presents so I’m excited to see them, very easy to contact and quick responses from the company I’ve had no issues

The deadline for the event we needed the shoes for was clearly stated and agreed upon nearly two months in advance. Multiple messages reminding of same were responded to with promises and reassurances. They were not delivered in time. The excuse was that they were “busy with shows”. If that were the case, they shouldn’t have taken on the order. They certainly should have informed me in time to find an alternative. They did the opposite. This was one of the most disappointing, unprofessional customer experiences I’ve ever had, and I would not use this vendor again under any circumstances. This was an expensive purchase too.

Edit in response to reply: the order should not have been sent out two day before the event. You knew where they needed to go from the outset, and confirmed this twice via email. You also said they were going out well before they actually did, and only finally sent them out after multiple panicked e-mails from me. This was not on customs, which only added two days to delivery on an order you had nearly two months to complete and deliver.

2nd Edit: that is a blatant lie and I have screenshots of all of our correspondences and the shipment tracking to back that up, including you saying the order was delayed because you chose to go to a trade show abroad. You shipped them out on a Monday for an event you knew you was that Thursday morning (remember, this was all via email and thus well documented), knowing they would have to go through customs (as per your replies here). This wasn’t on anyone but you. And frankly, the proof I have of our emails and the tracking info provided by you is more than enough to dispute the charge with my card issuer, so continuing to misrepresent the situation and not take accountability now is especially unwise. Your customer service continues to prove to be absolutely awful.

I decided to get some custom boots done for a boxing fight. I had 3 weeks to go before the fight, after a google search decided to go with mrskicks. Good service and promt responses via email nothing worse than being left waiting for a response. Im very happy with the outcome and with the service of this company. Thanks mrskicks.

Mrskicks made my recent purchase so easy! The trainers are perfect; they kept in contact throughout the process and delivered them in time for my sons prom. Can’t recommend them highly enough for custom made trainers! Will definitely use them again.

I have been made out like I am an idiot. If you want shoes that look NOTHING like the pictures then by all means, pay the absurd amount and be disappointed and they will make out that you’re the one in the wrong.

I ordered a pair of shoes on the 14th of April 2023 and only received them today, I wasn’t fussed about the wait as I do appreciate it takes time to get these shoes completed and sent off.

When I received them today, I was absolutely shocked by the colour of the shoes that were advertised and the ones that were delivered. The ones I ordered were a light brown and the ones that arrived were borderline black/dark brown.

I brought this to their attention and they said it was the correct colour and it was a “lighting issue” which is very insulting as I’m not an idiot and I will not be fobbed off like that. If it’s a lighting issue then as a business they should invest in some better cameras and not mislead customers into buying shoes a certain colour and say it’s a lighting issue when the colour looks nothing like the pictures!

They do not mention that on their website, they do not mention that the colour may differ from the shoes that you receive. Their responses are absolutely shocking.

They have offered to amend the colour so they have already contradicted themselves because if the colour was correct then what’s there to amend? I don’t want to anything to do with this company and I placed my trust into this company to get the order correct the first time and I will not be accepting anything from them.

They also say it’s a bespoke item to me, which it is not. They offer only set styles that you are unable to change. So I have not customised/personalised the items myself. They are made to order, so they can accept a return and sell them to the next customer that unfortunately buys them as they are as “advertised” on their website and are no different to what they advertise on their website.

They also insulted me by saying that they don’t offer refunds just because a customer changes their mind on the shoes. Absolute rubbish because if the shoes were as advertised, they wouldn’t be in this situation. That means they can literally send you ANY colour and when a customer complains they can say it’s a lighting issue and they don’t offer refunds.

I want a full refund and that’s it.

They also disable photos (no surprise there) so I can’t show you the pictures, which is convenient for them.

However, I have created an instagram account which you can look up called:

mrskicks_shoes123 and you can see the colours of the shoes that you will get and then their disgrace of an email response. I would highly recommend looking at the pictures first before purchasing.

I am so disappointed as I was really really looking forward to it and I had a few friends and family that were going to purchase a pair depending on the quality on my pair. This most certainly won’t be happening.

Delivery of item was extremely slow my daughter’s birthday passed and I had to go out and purchase another pair of air force trainers. I received 1 notification apologies for the delay, I asked for a refund only to be told on their website it states no refunds. Would never purchase from here again.
