Get the offer letter upfront before committing with loan.
Everything was verbal and no written docs were sent until i paid deposit with dealer. MBI and Insurance was added saying that it's MTF policy to get this as loan was approved based on this. I had to run to get this removed from the loan. I recommend loan officers to send letter of offer first rather later once you had paid deposits with dealer.

Hi Ashwin, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry for the confusion. The loan contract documents are created as part of the sale process. We can however organise pre-approval before you buy, subject to terms and conditions. Maintaining insurance cover is a requirement of a vehicle loan. MBI is an optional product and may be offered by the dealer or by MTF Finance and financed into the loan. If you'd like to discuss anything, please drop in and see our friendly team.

Very welcoming, friendly, & very professional. He clearly explained the process, details & benefits at the beginning, during & end which enabled my wife & I to have a clear understanding of each step of the process.
