We pay service charge to this company and when they send correspondence they don't provide an email address so we cannot contact them by email if we have a query. They provide a phone number but no one answers the call. When we have a question we have to go on their website, fill a form and send it via their website but because they don't provide a record of what we have sent we are not able to use the query for future reference whereas with an email we would be able to do it. They send a reply after a few days asking so many questions that we regret contacting them.
We recently received the service charge demand but there was no account number and sort code and when we asked them to provide those they came back with so many questions. We were really surprised as all we asked for was their account number and sort code.

I spoke to Paul on the Property Desk. He was extremely helpful. He listened carefully as I explained my repair requests. Paul took the time to ensure he understood my requirements to enable him to raise the correct repair requests. He explained the procedure to me and how my requests would proceed. Overall excellent customer service from Paul. Thank you. Mary.

Awful I’ve owned a leasehold property with this hideous company for over 20 years. Roof leak intermittently for 20 years . Last leak reported June 2025 - bunch of incompetents send round lots of people who promise me will be fixed . They all disappear in a puff of smoke never hear from them again As of now February 2026 everytime it rains in London it also rains s in my house . Shortly my ceilings will come down & electrics will blow MTVHA do not care . All they care about is collecting service charge . 1 day late they email you, text you & continually harass you . I know I need to pay or I’m in breach of my leasehold - theyve breached their leasehold responsibility for 20+ years .. yes I now have a lawyer I’m fox e with this horrible company . They owe me huge compensation & apology . The people you deal with when you call are lovely the companies incompetence is not their fault . MTVHA FIX MY ROOF STOP IT RAINING I NSIDE MY HOUSE … TOO MUCH TO ASK ????? Really you are just shocking . DO NOT BUY A PROPERTY WHERE MTVHA ARE FREEHOLDERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARMED THEY ARE TERRIBLE .

Spoke with Ishan today and he was very patient, thorough and helpful. Never thought I would come across someone in this company with such diligence in their job.

In spite of the lack of phone signal ISHAN was very patient with me, and I'm very grateful that the workmen will be coming to sort out my grandmother gas, so that she can be comfortable.
Thank you Ishan! 👍

We have been in an ongoing dispute with MTVH for five months regarding a broken door entry system. Despite multiple reports, the button to our flat remains non-functional.
MTVH claims to have sent electricians who "found no fault," yet these contractors never contacted us to test the system from our end while we were home, rendering their visits useless. We were forced to hire an independent electrician who confirmed the motherboard is faulty and needs replacing. MTVH has completely ignored this professional diagnosis. We are now paying for a second independent report to take this case to the Housing Ombudsman. Appalling lack of accountability and communication from MTVH.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience living in Clapham Park under Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing.
I have an ongoing mould issue in my one-bedroom flat that remains unresolved. Despite raising multiple tickets, they have been closed without the problem being properly fixed. There appears to be a serious lack of accountability when it comes to maintenance issues that directly affect residents’ health and wellbeing.
On top of that, the service charges are extremely high, yet there is very little transparency about what we are actually paying for. It is difficult to understand or justify the costs.
The heating system is another major concern. It costs over £150 per month to heat a one-bedroom flat, which feels excessive and unsustainable, especially during colder months.
Meanwhile, new properties continue to be built in the area, yet existing residents’ concerns do not seem to be prioritised.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential buyers or tenants to carefully research and consider all factors before committing.

I have never come across a worse company. I have lived in an MTVH block for 2 years and in those two years, none of the serious problems we have reported have ever been taken seriously. Leaks damaging property, causing mould, huge service charges for lights that don’t turn off and don’t get fixed in communal areas. Embarrassing company. Whenever we report anything it gets closed before anything is resolved so you then can’t get back in touch with them. Poorly run.

We have had a broken communal security door for 10 months which has not had any repair even attempted. This broken door has now fallen off the hinges completely and the residents have had to remove it from obstructing the only entrance/exit to the building. Metropolitan have not sent anyone to repair the missing door in 5 weeks

I’m disabled and raised an emergency repair but was given a repair date to come fix my adapted sink in a week, called my sister to come the following day to do a video call and a lovely gentleman assessed the problem on video call and my appointment was brought forward. The point is he listened to us and took pictures and relieved my stress levels coz I couldn’t use the sink as it went above my level which to me was a risk. So thank you for technology.
