Actually our monitoring measures Java memory footprint and not only Minecraft inside Java Virtual Machine, which tends to see higher values since Java is well known to expand its memory heap quite easily, especially on server startup phase.
There are other ways to measure the right amount of memory used by Minecraft server inside JVM but we cannot use them because of security systems.
You can also get the metrics through plugins like Lagg Remover.

Great for small servers, however...
The servers are great for small get together servers. I recommend using this website if you are planning to host a server with 20 players tops. The CPUs they are using are not as powerful as they seem to be when advertised. I have 50 plugins on my server when I get around 20-30 players on the TPS drops to 12 and the CPU is running at 216% even with 12GB of ram. This server is skyblock too which is typically not very bulky which makes me doubt what they are running on. I give this hosting site 4 stars though because of their support through their discord. Even though their site is not what I need for my server their support is out standing!

Very bad experience
Very bad experience, if you want host rust server I'm not suggesting to use this hosting.
On empty server without any plugins 70-80 % cpu usage. Server fps below 30.
Reaching 90cpu usage server automatically shutdowns so you have more downtime then uptime.
Support very slowly, answering one message per 24h.

Actually this might be a rare bug on your browser. Do not hesitate to contact us through support so we can take a look at it.
For now you can remove "/fr" part of manager URL to force english panel to display.

I was directed to this host by a banner on a mod pack I was looking to install. I compared pricing to the host I have been using and this company came back cheaper, and also had good reviews so I decided to give them a try. Both the banner I clicked and their webpage offer 24-hour trials and I went ahead and set up a server. I got into the dashboard and went about trying to install the mod pack that had directed me to the site. I follow their instructions only to find that there was a problem and for some reason, I could not install any mod pack, not just the one I was looking for. I went onto their discord only to find out that I was not alone in this problem. 7 hours from the initial post, their support team resolved the issue, but in that time, I had gone back to my previous host. I submit a support ticket asking mTxServ to cancel my server and since I was still within the 24 hour trial period, I asked for a refund. I received a response stating that "As clearly stated on our website, 24h trial servers are disabled due to very high activity on our website." Looking at their website I still see offers for a free trial including this: FREE MINECRAFT SERVER
We think it's important to let you try our servers. Before purchasing your Minecraft server, you can create it free for 24 hours within the limit of two trials every 15 days. You have everythng you need to make the best choice when it comes to your Minecraft server."
as copied directly from their service selection screen. The only place it says anything about the trials being unavailable is under the dialogue box where you select your server location. I find it poor form for a company to offer a trial period then disable it due to high traffic and not offer some form of satisfaction guarantee.

Sorry for misunderstanding but we put a colored text when ordering that clearly stated that 24h trials servers were temporarily disabled because of low stock level.
About modpacks, our panel provides what must be the biggest collection available and we add new modpacks very quickly (in a few hours as you've also stated). Not to mention you could easily install any Forge version to manually upload your modpack to make it work without our actions...
We always can improve our communications (and we did since) but you might be asking too much about a GSP, especially in a particular time like we live around the world for a few weeks now. You can't imagine how tough it was for us to deliver this much servers to satisfy thousands of customers day by day.
I hope you'll be coming back someday so we can make you change your mind about what we do for 11 years now ;)
