Product details
Muc-Off’s Microcell expanding sponge is contoured to an ergonomic shape for maximum comfort and ease of use. We’ve also vacuum packed it to take up less space and to use less packaging materials. Don’t worry though, once you’ve opened our perfectly pink sponge, it expands into an easy to use, bike and wheel friendly size!

To completely get it back at the original size after shipment it's necessary to squeeze it in the clean water for 2 or 3 times.

Thanks for the review on the sponge!
The instruction on the packaging said to remove from the compressed package and watch it expand, no joy, e mailed much off, was told to submerge it for 1 hour, still no joy with it expanding, eventually took about a whole day to reach its full size, looks great now, good size for washing a bike, yet to use so unable to give it 5 stars

Great to hear that the sponge is now fully expanded, sometimes they do take a little longer to fully expand!

The strangest sponge I have ever bought. Takes a while to expand, but after that it’s an awesome size and firm enough for any abuse.

This sponge amazed me when I first used it on how small it was until a little water made it a full sized sponge. Great product
