Our potted Christmas tree was such a disappointment: very thin and sparce. My child cried when he saw it.

I’ve just had a reply from Muddy Trowel and the problem is that they say ‘we replace trees that are outside our guidelines’. And that’s the problem: trees outside the ‘guidelines’ being passed as acceptable: if there was Quality Control that would be preventing that. It’s not okay that it’s down to the customer to be alerting the company, and dealing with all the upheaval and disappointed children, that the trees aren’t within their own description. I paid over £100 for a 5.5 foot tree. It is 5.5 foot (only if you include the pot) but that’s the only specification they got right. The tree is very thin and sparce. It’s the tree that wd be left behind on a Christmas tree market.

I ordered the wrong size tree and the bigger size was delivered, placed on my sideboard (as too heavy for me) and the smaller one taken away.

Received my 4ft potted tree a while ago very busy and pleased with it snd potted plants but lost 2 plants have died but I’m unsure how to care for my tree as it’s indoors till after Xmas and water it ? So pleased with it

Ordered a 6ft potted xmas tree. Order process & delivery were good. However the tree is really disappointing.
Whilst healthy, the tree is 'gappy' and scraggy and doesn't come close to matching the price tag. To be honest I'm surprised that someone picked it out as okay to be sent to a customer. I wanted a tree we could plant and bring in each year which was bushy and reflected the £110 price tag. Now I'm waiting for it to be returned (at a cost to me of £25) but I'm not even sure when this is happening and I'm waiting for my refund.
Frustrating when money is tight and I thought this would be an investment tree for future years. I guess my point is - that perhaps Xmas trees aren't the things to buy online without seeing.

Excellent service tree delivered promptly and in excellent condition. It is currently standiing in my garden waiting for Christmas. The real test will how well it survives that. I am very hopeful though

I ordered the Crimson Touch and Winter Sun collections. Plant quality and size were excellent. All the plants are thriving in their new homes. I used my own pots and would have appreciated detailed planting design guides to reproduce the marketing photos. Alao, I recommend Muddy Trowel for the freshness of their plants and plastic free packaging.
