Giving muffin a nothing
I visited Glasgow’s St Enoch store the staff were polite, their all day breakfast was disappointing poor portions an over priced.

Awful!
Awful! Often walked past this cafe and should have done so today too! Friendly chap served us but the place stunk of stieff, so our jackets stunk of that greasy cafe smell when we left. There were eight tables around us with dirty dishes on them for the duration of our visit and there were fruit flies which stopped us eating our sandwich and had the distinct feeling things were not clean. Cappuccino was terrible and we didn’t eat our bland sandwich either. Will defo not be back!

I craved for Red velvet cake and was excited to see it in Muffin Break Staines.Disappointed it’s dry and overpriced.
On the positive side
On the positive side, the coffee is great. BUT, on the negative side I have lost several free rewards because "their scanner" didn't accept a Christmas special, or because I had problems downloading their app (although another customer was allowed to use a saving card). It may not sound like much, but pensioners do appreciate a 'freebie'. Muffin Break, do you want to lose older pensioners especially in Eastbourne?
profanity in the workplace
I recently visited this relatively new cafe in Newbury Parkway. I was appalled to hear profanity from a worker when I was ordering. This sort of language from an employee of a company should absolutely not be tolerated in the workplace. The prices for food and drinks in this cafe is outrageous for the bland, unhygienic food they sell. I would definitely not recommend going to this cafe.
Muffin Break
Muffin Break, Princess Quay, Hull...quite the experience if you like waiting staff who push through you on the table to slam food down and a non-veggie over priced veggie brunch with the badly cooked eggs, revolting hash browns and concrete paving slabs unbuttered toast. Diabolical. Shameful. A waste of your time and money when so many better places exist.
 amazing coffee great food
Muffin break is a great café for coffee and food clean tidy polite staff tasty food value for money I would go back again
Colchester branch…Nahh
Went into the Colchester branch yesterday.
Bought a mud cake, coffee cake, two sets of tea and a veggie wrap.
The wrap was not in the least delicious. It was gooey and overdone on the outside and therefore very crispy.
However, the worst was the fact that my coffee cake was rancid and had spoiled.
It did not taste fresh but rotten and seemed to have been from a few days ago.
I complained to three members of staff.
A lady later came to me asking if I wanted it changed. Of course not, I don’t want another rancid one again.
She did admit it was made a day ago (maybe more than a day ago??) and then began to insinuate that I am lying by telling me it has not gone off, which is unacceptable!
We all know that rancid or spoiled food is harmful to one’s health.
Walking off angrily because you did not want to accept your fault is also rude and disrespectful.
You couldn’t even appreciate how calm I was or the fact that I didn’t demand a refund.
My money back would have been ideal as I obviously couldn’t consume that or the hard-shelled and gooey on the inside wrap.
Moreover, the washed teacups smelled of dried saliva therefore we had to ask for take away cups.
Nah… too much going on here that’s quite dissatisfying.
Not a place I would ever go again.!!!!
I visited the Middlesbrough site today…
I visited the Middlesbrough site today with a friend in his motorized scooter he was refused entry by the manager and his side kick assistant what happened to discrimination he didn't seem to care so we went across to Gregs who severed us at the table with a smile that's what I called service will never attempt to go to any more of these muffin break cafes every again Greg's here we come every time from now on.
Belfast Forestside - rude!
Belfast Forestside - Bought a croissant to go. The fella server didn’t make eye contact, didn’t say thank you, IMMEDIATELY turned to greet the next customer AS he reached me my food to go bag.
Completely rude!
Disappointing service.
Now reading their reviews, ya wonder how these places still run…
Very poor breakfast
This is a prime example of what happens when you let the accountant loose on your breakfast. The bacon was heavily processed like you may get on an all inclusive and the sausage was tiny. All served lukewarm warm.
Breakfast at the Glasgow branch ….
Breakfast at the Glasgow branch ….
Staff and premises good … breakfast awful .. dried overcooked tough toast , eggs overdone and burnt. Bacon dry and horrid …
Please can you teach your staff how to cook
Absolute find
Bolton. Absolute find! Food, service ,price amazing This is going to become me and my mums Saturday treat retreat. Thank you especial to the kind gentleman who served me.
Cheese and onion toastie ( NOT)
Myself and my elderly mother visited the store today for a bite to eat, we ordered 2 cheese and onion toasties.
Firstly the waiter just passed them to us quite abruptly, they were not cut in
Half and no cutlery provided. The actual sandwich was disputing awful plastic square cheese and a onion relish (like Brandon Pickle) not actual onion, we both took one bite and left, absolutely rotten taste, the other visitors were quite shocked at our reaction also, we paid £10 for an extremely poorly made toastie that I would not give my dog…
Will never return , this place has definitely gone downhill!!!
Breakfast ordered for my family
Breakfast ordered for my family, food came at completely separate times. By the time my dad’s food arrived I had finished mine, which tasted stale, barely warm and unappealing to say the least. I’d never return for the breakfast by any means.
Today
Today, I have went to the Ilford exchange, Muffin break. Staff are very friendly and helpful 🙂 specifically Meggi and Shahzeb.
went to Muffin break for brunch
went to Muffin break for brunch ordered to breakfast brunch a tea and black tea there was only about 5 customers in the place a few more people came in after we had ordered we sat waiting for the food a lot of the customers who came in after us got their food we waited for about half hour and the food arrived but it was cold and about 10 minutes later they brought the beans over and said sorry forgot about these they were left in the microwave wasn't impressed and won't be going back again.
I went to the Muffin Bar in Telford…
I went to the Muffin Bar in Telford town centre where my wife and I go. We had our normal teas, and a Muffin “toffee “ I started to eat the Muffin when I released it was like rubber in the middle. I spoke to the girl in charge about it, her reply was ho it must of got cold, I’ll warm it up this is a muffin with cream on I tried to tell there something had gone wrong in the making of it. She looked at me and said do you want another one, I didn’t take her up on her offer and she just walk away. While I was drinking my tea I saw 3 people go up to the counter and complain. I’ve been using the bar for many years and never seen anybody complain before what’s going on.
