Muista is a home office furniture design brand behind the original Muista chair concept. Founded in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2017 by designer Aurimas Lažinskas and his cousin Gytis Staras, Muista's aim is to change the approach of long sitting at work desks, to encourage flexibility and movement and make sitting a more enjoyable experience.
Introduced for the first time at the Habitare 2018 design fair in Helsinki, Finland, Muista achieved big interest and positive feedback, both from health professionals and members of the public. Since then it was successfully showcased at various design fairs including Cologne (IMM), Paris (Maison & Objet), Vienna, Zürich, Hamburg (Blickfang), and sold the Muista ergonomic desk chair to hundreds of happy customers.

Free your hips
Sitting 8+ hours a day for years -even in an ergonomic office chair- caused me pains and tightened my psoas muscle. I am happy that I found Muista. The ordering process was easy, several payment methods available, shipping happened in a reasonable time (backorder item). The color is brilliant, the rocking movement makes me a child again :), and I am sure that the saddle seating will free my hips.

Excellent product and customer service
I purchased a muista chair for my office and liked it so much I have purchased a second one to use at home. The customer service is very good indeed, including notifying UK customers about import charges.

Rock - don't slouch
Product as advertised. Looks good and of high quality. Feels very pleasant to sit on in the Home-Office. You can rock. Your back stays straight. You don't slouch. Fast and transparent delivery.

Great chair, great company
Great chair (Wish the height could be customized on the tall version. It's just about an inch taller than perfect for my leg length.) But I am very happy. High quality, fast delivery, great communication.

Great alternative to a traditional desk chair
Very well made. Looks beautiful and perfect for my homeschooled teen. Nice to have some movement as you’re sitting. It’s been shown in studies that if you move or are physical in someway while learning you retain information more. Also helps with maintaining good posture. Was very quick to receive here in Houston, TX
