Muji online is TERRIBLE.
For the spain store they do not answer to messages in, what a waste of time...
I bought products that were available online and after a few days they told me by email that they didn't have it in stock??? Too bad to be true. I'm still waiting for Muji's response and my refund for the things I won't receive : /

Saw the reviews after I bought muji…

Saw the reviews after I bought muji aroma diffuser online (the store in town has sadly been closed) and the essential oil, and was really concerned about the delivery. A very pleasant surprise, got confirmation message from DPD next morning. I received my order, and very pleased with the diffuser.

The reason for not giving the 5 star is that the online information showed the essential oil would be free if you purchase a diffuser, however when I checked out the promotion was not applied with no explanation.

Muji online is a tramp

Muji online is a tramp. For the spain store, Their contact form does not work, the phone number found in the legal part of the web site is invalid, they do not answer to messages.
I lost 50 euros buying things never delivered.
I’m waiting over a month for something that should arrive in max 8 days.
DO NOT TRUST.

If I had an option below 1 star

If I had an option below 1 star, I'd definitely have used it.
I ordered in November 2020 and was given a delivery date of 8 December. Now we're in end-Feb and there's absolutely no sign of any delivery. And no communication from them other than to say one of the items was not available. I dont mind things being out of stock - that happens - but where on earth are the other things I ordered? Why has my hard earned money gone into their coffers for absolutely nothing? This makes me so upset.
I struggled to find our how to reach them, and have sent them 2 emails and one online query via their site so far - total silence is the response I've got. I dont know what else to do, other than raise it with the media, or shrug and say that's 50 quid down the drain.
I really used to like their stuff but now I wouldn't ever walk into one of their shops again, and will absolutely resent this money they have in effect stolen off me. Aargh.

unbelievable shipping costs for envelope

I love MUJI stationery , so proceeded to look online now that the local shop in Dublin isn’t open . Saw an eu domain so ordered a few things . Didn’t see the cost of shipping at checkout but saw directly after purchase - £29 to ship a few notebooks from uk to Ireland ! Thanks tried cancelling immediately , got reply 2 days later that I was too late and that I could refuse delivery ! Absolutely disgusting service . To cap it off they couldn’t even fulfil my full order so they just refunded me that cost - really disreputable company .

Lost my Muji account so no idea how to track my order

Muji decided to upgrade their website but they did not merge or migrate the customer accounts from their old website. Because of this, I am unable to log back into my old account. I tried logging in to my old account but was instead prompted to create a new account. Now I have lost access to my old account and subsequently lost access to view the status of my orders.

Another problem is that the link to track my order from the initial order confirmation email does not work. It redirects to the website's stationery page but not my order status.

I am fully aware of the COVID-19 situation. I am also aware that there may be problems in distribution due to COVID. But the lack of response from customer service is genuinely distressing.

I am distressed that I have no way to track the status of my order than was placed more than a month ago. But I have already been charged and all I can do is wait.

Edit 02/11/2020: Finally got an update on my order. Customer Services said the order is delayed due to one item being out of stock. If anyone wants to receive fast customer service replies, please send your email through "Kaizen" at the very bottom of the Support page. Don't try sending enquiries through any of the other support pages as it seems they don't actually receive them from those. Only through Kaizen will they respond as it only took 1 hour to be answered.

Edit 29/10/2020: No use in hoping for a customer service response here on Trustpilot because the company isn't even claimed. Word of advice, don't order from Muji at all until the COVID situation is finished.

Total Lack of Customer Service!

I placed an order by mistake and immediately proceeded to cancel it. I heard nothing back until 3 days later when the shipping confirmation was sent saying that the order could no longer be cancelled. I again contacted customer service and never received a reply. I can't stand companies who use Covid as an excuse for not responding to their clients.

Awful experience placed an order weeks…

Awful experience placed an order weeks ago confirmation of delivery only 1/2 the order arrived no response from customer service and in summary the under bed stored drawers came but can’t fit under the bed because the legs I ordered never arrived. After spending a lot of money on muji on a bed, drawers etc this is so disappointing

Great cleaning system

Good website showing stock information, 1 hour delivery window update given, all items (I bought cleaning equipment) well packaged and look great. Quality seems really good, especially for price paid. Happy to recommend.

Good quality items and super customer service

I had a fantastic experience with my both purchases with Muji online - clothes and large items (furniture). Both arrived on time, small items even were delivered next day.

The quality itself it's outstanding. I like Muji because of it's style - nothing extra, but very stylish. I'll be definitely buying again.

Do not order furniture from Muji.

Missing screws, instructions and parts.
Received doubles of some parts.
Called when realised instructions were missing, before realising other parts were missing, was told I would receive a PDF of instructions immediately, waited hours, still nothing sent. Phoned and was told they would be sent now. Received the wrong instructions. Phone back, no reply.
Have since phoned 100s of times, no reply, just rings out.
Finally got a reply by email with a parts list days later, only to realise I had multiple parts and was missing some other parts. No indication as to when I will get the missing parts. I would be quicker just ordering a new bed from them as then I would at least get a delivery date. I have no idea why they can't just contact warehouse and tell them to send the specific parts next day delivery. It is the least that can be done. I spent a fortune on the double bed, headboard and mattress and they couldn't even check the right items were in the parcel, let alone correct the mistake promptly. Will never order from them again, will tell everyone to avoid.

headache...

I had been so excited to receive the oak double bed I had ordered online and upon its arrival all of the parts do feel like really good quality. So despite the product being delivered in three separate deliveries which whilst inconvenient I could understand as this is a large furniture item. The first box arrived separate from the slats and screws, which I did not realise until I had unpacked the box of its contents, which was again inconvenient but now finally the slats have arrived and the box didn't contain any fitting parts (screws etc). I am honestly disgusted by this service. I have all the parts laid out on my bedroom floor ready for assembly only to realise there are no screws for me to put the damn thing together, so now I must wait even longer before their office is even open for me to try and get through to the elusive customer service team so that I can stop sleeping in my mattress on my bedroom floor. This is just so ridiculous and such a shame as they are selling quality items but they are not worth the stress and I will be detering anyone in the future from ordering from here unless they make this right. A complete and utter headache.
