We ordered 6 bags of mulch, great product, no smells when spreading it around the garden, it is weed free and I throughly recommend this wonderful product to enhance your garden.

This is the second year I’ve mulched my allotment with Apsley’s glorious mulch! This year I’ve also used a good think layer on some cardboard on an area of allotment that really didn’t live up to expectations last year and will use the no dig technique on this patch in the spring. Delivery was a doddle and the driver delivered the bags with great care (lifting the bags clear over my dahlias). My vegetables were so happy last year and yields were fabulous so I’ll carry on with Apsleys!

Great for improving soil for lawn, Grass is now super healthy.
Improving condition of borders to add organic content. Plants are now super healthy and we font get waterlogging of our clay soil anymore.

We have been using Apsley's garden mulch for a number of years on a heavy clay soil. According to our gardener, it is the best mulch he has come across and recommends it to others. The improvement it has made to our beds and shrubberies is huge and we will be buying again next year.

I’ve used Apsley for a few years now and the product is good ( soil improver mulch) but the service has been great. One of the drivers accidentally did some damage and Aosley sorted out the repair brickwork within a couple of days. They saw they’ll deliver within 5 days and they do. The drivers are always polite and helpful.

Great service. The mulch was delivered on time and just where i wanted it. I have used it in my borders and, veg and flower beds. A great weed suppressant and made the borders look very neat and tidy!

The delivery was exceptional with a lady who really knew how to precisely locate each bag. Very impressed. I also must comment on the mulch itself. We use our main plot for potatoes. Initially we thought the rotovator wouldn't get through the mulch and I worried a bit about what the potatoes would do, but I needn't have worried because, considering we had very little rain and apart from filling the trench with water initially I didn't water at all, we had a really good crop with clean slug-free and generally free of any bugs and beasties potatoes. I was really pleased and I'm getting another delivery just after Christmas to make sure the soil has the protection it needs with a possible hard summer ahead.

This is the 3rd year we have ordered mulch from Apsley. Phone orders are easy and quick to make and the service is always as stated. It normally arrives within a week and is delivered to the fence of our allotment site. The price is comparable or better than other providers in the locality. As we are local there is no delivery charge. The mulch is of good quality and has greatly contributed to the improved quality of our soil.

Excellent product from an excellent company. What's not to like?
