The packaging was good, and the delivery was on time! The product was well wrapped and the spices were excellent! I highly recommend this company! My purchase was Tandoori medium spice.

Very shady company
Very shady company. Delete the negative feedback or negative reviews on Facebook. Tell blatant lies about their products. Clearly state no Artificial colours or preservatives or flavours. Go to the ingredients and it’s littered with E numbers. Some actually have warnings from the food standards agency . I pointed this out on facebook and they deleted my comment. Very interesting.
They delete negative feedback
If you see positive reviews or comments about mumtaz at home, that's because they delete all of the negative ones. They will block you from their page for it as well. I thought their spices were nasty, don't bother.
Avoid ordering anything online.
I would avoid ordering anything from mumtaz online. I placed an order months ago which cost me £40 and the order never arrived. I contacted Mumtaz several times about it but never got a response they just ignored all emails and phone calls.
Will never order from them again!!

Good, in contrast to other reviews
Rather shocked to read other reviews. I booked for a small group having eaten here when working in Bradford some years ago. The food was good and the service very good (thank you Omer Iqbal). The decor does look dated, particularly in the toilets, which felt like a left-over from the '70s.
Terrible experience at Mumtaz Leeds
Title: Disappointing Experience at Mumtaz Leeds
I recently booked a table for 14 people, including young children, at Mumtaz Leeds. On arrival, we were shocked to learn that the toilets were out of order. It’s baffling that they would open with no bathroom facilities for diners.
The service was by far the worst I’ve experienced in years, and I travel extensively. It took five attempts to order a simple donner sheekh kebab because the staff, particularly the young overseas waitress, struggled to understand the order. It makes me question if proper training is being provided.
The food prices are on another level. I understand that food costs have risen, but £400 for five meals and starters is beyond excessive. This pricing structure definitely needs a review.
For anyone planning to visit, I strongly advise checking if bathroom facilities are available and confirming prices in advance. Also, keep a record of what you order to avoid confusion at the till.
I’ve been dining at Mumtaz since the 1980s, but after this terrible experience, I won’t be returning anytime soon. Lastly, out of respect, it might be time to take down the photo of the late Queen—it’s outdated and feels more like a tired marketing gimmick than a respectful
It was my birthday booked in advance
It was my birthday booked in advance, for 7 people, ordered staters and mains! The service was absolutely atrocious! Didn’t bring any new plates, salad was dry like it had been sat there all day! The chicken in a couple of the dishes was chewy and dry, and the food over all was average at best!! My mum paid for a chocolate cake costing around £8-10 and it was the smallest bit of cake ever, the last time I went there was ice cream with the cake’ which made up for the tiny cake, it had 3 small berries unbelievable! Asked for clean napkins at least 4 times and clean knife and forks never got them, in the end I got up and took them from an empty table, we even had to get up and get our own drinks at one point the bill was just short of £200 and me and my daughter couldn’t eat it, I wouldn’t have even been as annoyed if they had of been really busy but it was mostly empty and there were plenty of staff! I wouldn’t recommend going here at all! Just feel like it’s ruined my birthday! Even asking for the bill took them half an hour! Total disappointment!! And a waste of hard earned money!!

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THE CURRIES I THINK IT IS ONE OF THE BEST IN BRADFORD. I WENT TO LEEDS AND THAT WAS FANTASTIC.

Avoid ordering from this company
Avoid ordering from this company, the after sale service is ZERO absolutely no response
Ordered the meat marinade and too much salt which is inedible, I ordered 3 tubs emailed for help or advise to resolve and no response,
The butter chicken curry paste was nothing like the video at all.
Very disappointed as spent almost £100 and can’t use the marinade due to excessive salt, and the waste of the meat and time used cooking also wasted
If these fools actually responded and advised if there is something I can add to reduce the salt or swap the tube would have been good but very silly people
Zero customer service
A terrible dining experience
A terrible dining experience. We came from Nottingham as it was Father’s Day and recommended to us. The place had huge flies touching our food til it was impossible to eat. I was constantly batting flies. I can understand if we were sitting g outside but no excuse for that many flies inside the restaurant.
In the end I covered the food with our serviettes. The girl serving us just said it may be due to the heat!!
We will not be returning. !!
Worst food ever
Worst food ever, uncooked, cold and definitely not fresh. i was served raw prawns and leftover rice and curry as biryani. The food seemed reheated from frozen, definitely not fresh.
Terrible deco, dirty outdated and broken furniture and light fixture.
Poor services, terrible atmosphere and depressing loud music.
An overpriced disaster- do not go there!

I have always known Mumtaz was a fantastic for dining . We travel from Leics to taste the food . I have been very disappointed with the moment I entered. Food was very bland, staff was very unprofessional, the waiter did not advise about the birani . Made my complaint to the staff but had no interest. Before we finish eating they wanted to take the plates & bill was provided as they want to push us out. It's very hard to believe this was an award winning resturant. A typical catering business with very poor service . Will not recommend to this place .

I was genuinely pleasantly impressed with everything including the starters, the mains & the overall service of the restaurant.
Food was outstanding throughout & a special mention goes to the waiter Andrew who was exceptional. He went out of his way & deserves recognition for his customer service.
Thank you guys & maybe again next time - who knows ?
Much appreciated.
Not good at all
Not good at all
We went 15 years ago and the food was not nice at all
We decided to go again thinking improvements had been made.
The restaurant looks very elegant
The food was seriously disgusting.
A wedding was taking place at the same time we went.
We order chicken breast karahi palak paneer for our main
The chicken that was given was from the wedding that was going on and it was thigh chicken which is the cheapest you can buy and was very gristly
Palak paneer was watery not cooked properly
We also order a small mix platter the meat was tough to chew.
I thought I will give mumtaz another try but never again
We paid £84.00
Food is disappointing. Management don’t respond to the feedback. Company would benefit from training staff on responding effectively to feedback.
Food is disappointing.

I attended a Leeds restaurant with my wife and youngest daughter, we ordered three main meals and one Chicken wing (4 pieces) with two white rice and water. ( WE HAVE THE 50% BLACK FRIDAY OFFER)
The Receipt was 69.80 pounds WITH NO ITEMIZED PRICE and we paid 44.80 pounds Looks like a scam to me.
Food was spot on
The food atmosphere and service was fantastic, Andrew our waiter was super friendly and gave excellent customer service even the kids loved him and we had no issues at all, we will definitely visit again 👍🏽
Do people even still eat here? Lol
Place has gone so downhill.
Yes they served food to the queen about 30 years ago when no other “Indian” restaurants existed lol they’ve been holding onto that ever since.
Customer service is worse than the food.
Very “unauthentic” Indian cuisine. Menu and chefs are all Pakistani. So change it to “Pakistani cuisine” and stop lying to your customers.
Why are people writing reviews about…
Why are people writing reviews about ordering clothing? Lol. In terms of the restaurant in Bradford by the name of Mumtaz, this was hands down the worst experience I have had. Girls, if you like to get dressed up and dolled up, stay away from the men who work in this place. Never felt so disrespected in my life, being stared at like a piece of meat and being spoken to like a sleaze. Manager doesn’t care and had the same flirty mentality.
