Literally stole equipment and material on camera.
I am not a handworker but I had to control all the work. At the start Carsten was instructing his team (or a team he hired in) to place a load bearing steal beam in the space between the inner and outer brick wall where it would be supporting only insulation and no weight. I am glad I was there to prevent that. The work was done under my supervision but they did not remove the + 1 ton of brick that needed to be recycled. We had agreed that he could buy some brand new bracing poles (soldater) from me because I did not need them. He called me one day while I was at work and said he was at my house and wanted to get the poles. We discussed the price again and agreed he would pay when I sent a copy of the invoices. He needed them urgently so I let him take them but we agreed he should pay and that he still needed to remove the waste material from the job we already paid him for. He took the poles (soldater) but didn't know that he was on camera. I caught him loading planks of my wood onto the top of his Van on 1 camera and called him just before he drove off with them. He was very quick to say it was just short waste pieces of wood. When I told him I could see the wood was so long it could not fit in a van and had to be strapped to the roof of his van he changed his story and said he had taken pictures of what he took so he could show me. I have him on camera and he took no photos. Taking photos of what you steal doesn't mean you're not a thief. He lied so quickly and easily that I knew I had to cancel the much bigger project we had planned with him.
He actually tried to take some more of my long lengths of wood but it was buried under all HIS rubbish and he wasn't strong enough to pull it out!!! 6 weeks later and they have not paid for the equipment, does not answer the phone, does not answer messages. So he has a faktura for equipment he has stolen, and can reduce his MOMs with that too. great for him. I have saved every minute of film while he was at our property that day, and would really like to know why he brought someone into our back garden and looked around the whole house when he knew where the equipment was and it was all at the front of the house.
The subcontractor who did the actual work was very helpful, but when he came back to collect some of his equipment some weeks later, I asked him about Murerfirmet, he told me that he never got paid. I told him about my problems and he actually helped me remove the waste which was not part of his agreement with Carsten. Very very nice. I hope his lawyers get all the money they are owed.
I can see that there are only very bad or very good reviews here and that the company are saying some reviews are fake. I agree and I also have my own opinions about which ones are fake ?
When I read the other negative reviews they fit my experience and have the kind of details only a world class writer would dream up. Very strange that there are no 3 or 4 star reviews!!!!
