Good site i have great experience with this site

I changed from Spotify to You Tube music when Spotify increased their charges. The You Tube app was fine although a little glitchy at times. Unfortunately You Tube Music juts announced a price increase of 20%. (Family Plan). That would be fine if the APP was improved for example the music resolution was improved - but there is no improvement just a price increase. I'm going to move to Tidal which is slightly cheaper but the quality of the sound much better.

Wow, what a sad attempt at scamming people for a lazzy music app.

Involuntarily downloading songs I did not request for and taking up space refusing to delete when I try to delete this automatic downloads.

The app freezes up and essentially restarts randomly if it is paused. When I open it, it waits and scans pointlessly for several minutes instead of just showing and playing the files I have stored right there on my phone. About half the time, it "forgets" my place in paused files, forcing it back to the beginning.

A poor replacement for Google music and Google podcasts. It does neither well. The software is buggy on flagship devices and often just doesn't work. It's offline performance is also poor. Sometimes playlists just get stuck on random songs and needs to be "force stopped". It often doesn't play well with android auto. It costs more and is worse by every measure then it's competitors. Spend your money elsewhere. Google has a habit of stopping services and replacing them with worse apps like this. Extremely disappointing, they also never respond to bug reports, Reddit and other forums are littered with complaints and no improvements for basic functions. Terrible software, terrible support and when I can get around to porting my playlists elsewhere I will do so.

The download feature and the incredibly vast range of songs makes this the perfect music streaming service for this century!

Not worth anything. Full of egotistical narcissistic arrogant weird people and people who think they are fantastic. No customer service or support. Plus they stole the music through spying on my youtube account because i put it onto my old youtube account and they decided to use it as their own even though it was mine first back from when i was a teenager. They never bothered being appreciative for any of the music i put on the website so now i don't listen to their music and try to keep mine separate and off their website. It does not matter so much to me anymore as some of the music i was watching on the website i don't like anymore.

This app keeps freezing, crashing and doesn’t load properly. Why bother paying for a subscription when you can’t even enjoy using the app to listen to your music. At least another music app is a little better with less crashing

I've used this app for years and watched it decline to the point of being completely worthless. The interface plays the wrong song, or plays the same song twice, ignores play/pause half the time; the interface often disappears entirely. Even when that doesn't happen, it's SLOW - like dial-up slow. Often it just crashes entirely.
I've made all these complaints known to YouTube. They don't care.

By far the worst application I have used overall, not only in its category.

The app is slow, especially its search.
It will crash quite often and also music stops playing all of a sudden, very frequently.

When offline, you cannot search in your downloaded songs.

Sometimes, a song is playing but another's song title and cover photo is shown.

I will go back to Apple Music

It works at will! I pay, but still it does not work more than 5 minutes at a time 😡. It stops frequently both with internet and downloaded music.

I want to shuffle songs by an artist and it shuffles songs from other artists.podcasts layout is awful. Don't care about videos just the music please.

Yall had great things going with play music and the orginal podcast app. Plus now I get random ads with the yt podcast and pay for ytm premium

C'mon YouTube What in the Fu* is going on with the horse cackka that comes with a payment having to be late equals you cancelling the subscription I've had for years recurring on-top of now you just take the downloads saved in my storage and play random ass songs and then expect me to be paying you monthly payments for a bullcrap service that you have exploited people to buy, and then jack the prices of all while wasting my paid for internet data to re download the songs you just rudely interrupted me from having access to, because we all go broke every so often. Like I am really stupid some days and I uselessly spend my money on your subscription fee.... but this time round put quite the sour taste and clarity on the way you guys are doing the exact same thing as everyone else in music production and distribution has and conformed to the money hungry disgusting dictators we have been nothing but good little penniless slaves too...

Guess I should have stuck with my old school downloading and saving of my favorite music, and the good old' fashioned attitude of FTS and paying for a service that you used to provide everyone in the world with for free until you started making everyone a millionaire by click bait, views, and content writing services and expecting the ones that you are not paying to be the good little penniless slaves still and pay for it instead of you charging the members you have to give a salary too..

Like I have been faithfully paying for this bullcrap for years even while homeless just to watch you become trash .. best believe that I am really not gunna be coming back in the future and I'll be making a point to be doing alot of downloading services for my peers and family so they are no longer being used by your company.

Blows my mind how you destroyed everything that was actually really cool and appreciated... What built your company to get to where it is today and yet now rob those who faithfully stuck with it regardless and leave them in the silence or polluted with data eating ads because of late payment...

Don't worry I'm just going to be making sure this review is on every possible website, forum and social media I can bother to send it too.. oh right we have AI for that now 😂 scripts for days, and yet no YouTube to play in the background because of the crappy setback of YouTube becoming a greed powered up money hungry industry that offers the worst of the worst services for its members and guests. Why the fudge are students getting cheaper than individuals who have been working their asses off everyday while a student is busy playing school while racking up debts owed but getting financial services and aide to get there while the vets who have us the best life we live out here these days are going homeless and abused along with the people who have actually had to go to work and fight everyday to make their dollar to pay for all the crap/money you give away to popular channels and the school grants the students get to enjoy with even more extra added discounts. Like fu*k off.

Wake up and come back to the real people who are losing hope everyday while still tryna support your stupid corporate bank accounts. Give back for once please.

Do not use - I had to transfer my Google Play Music to Youtube Music. Which I did and for a short while it had my list of purchases to select from and listen too. I’ve gone to listen to my songs today and they are all gone. When I contacted Youtube they want screenshots for the tech team, why I don’t know, because they have my account details, and as a multi million pound internet firm, I don’t understand why the tech team just access the system. Its a tactic they seem to employ in the hope you will go away. If you want to complain, there is no complaints process, telephone number or email address. They do not care. So don’t risk your money you won’t get any help.

It's impossible to get to the bottom of a ~1000 songs playlist because YTM crashes on desktop (web app, and I have 32 gb or RAM ). And if you manage to find the song you want, itll play another random song and not the one you picked for some reason...
Also, the desktop web app is still crazy buggy, laggy and slow.. What are we paying for actually?

I'm a fan of indie punk-pop music. Many of these bands can't afford to be on other platforms like Deezer or Spotify.

And the interface is easy to use. It's also working quite well on Carplay. I recommend this app.

To say the least - poor and unreliable. I have downloaded my playlists for offline listening twice, spending more than 100 gig of pricy data, only for them to discontinue my offline listening without any valid reason. I have now moved to Spotify and will test their offline functioning. YouTube Music is pathetic for offline listening.

So, I've been using YouTube Music for a while now, and let me just say, it's a mixed bag. On the positive side, there's a ton of music available - seriously, it's like a musical treasure trove. You can find almost anything you want, and the algorithm is pretty good at suggesting new stuff based on your tastes.

But, and it's a big but, the playlist game is seriously lacking compared to Spotify. I mean, c'mon, playlists are life, right? Spotify just nails it with curated playlists for every mood, occasion, and even the weirdest niche genres. YouTube Music has some playlists, sure, but it's like they're playing catch-up.

I want to hit play and have the perfect mix without spending hours creating my own playlists. It's frustrating when you know Spotify is out there, making your life easier. Get on the playlist game, YouTube Music, and you'll have my heart forever! 🎶💔
