The smooth transition from concept to concept was really helpful to me as a beginner. Umut’s direct and clear manner of teaching helped me see one way Max can “transduce” data into sound design.

The content is solid but shacky user experience
The content is solid, premium quality! The website is slow, clanky and the overall user experience is shacky at best. I hope to improve my feedback soon.
I will write this review sequentially. Day by day as Jay (my programmer for this project) who lives in New York, and I in Toronto begin to learn and become educated about Javascript and Max/MSP.
I will write this review sequentially day-by-day. This is the preface. Good morning!

an evening for insiders
I attended 'Exploring Generative Music: A talk and Q&A with Peter Chilvers'. – I was quite interested, and I had created some generative music in the past myself, but I have to say I did hardly understand what people were talking about, and nobody really seemed to care to help me. no real introduction was given, of course we all were supposed to know Peter and his entourage. names were dropped, must have been great names, but nobody cared to write them down so a less enlightened person would have been able to afterwards search for these names.
I do not think I will try a similar event in the nearer future.
