Considering 66 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the app, perceiving its design and monetization strategy as predatory or misleading, rather than genuinely facilitating connections. Customers frequently reported issues with the subscription model, including unexpected charges after cancellation and the constant need to pay for basic features even with a premium membership. Wasted lots of money

Wasted lots of money. Divorced men with 3/4 kids, looking for women without kids. Fake profiles. Waste of money and time.

Fraudulent business

Gold subscription is such a waste of money and too bloody expensive for what it's worth. It shouldn't cost more than £15 for one month 😠

Scammers

Don't pay for the Gold Membership, unless you want to waste 30 quid a month. Also, Muzz frequently runs charity fundraisers, so keep an eye out. Sometimes they announce that for every £1 donated, they’ll match or contribute 50%. However, once one of these campaigns ended, around £100k was raised and Muzz only donated about £20k!

No one responds from their support, and they keep trying to charge my card despite me canceling the subscription, also not letting me remove my card. They are greedy and fraudulent.

Worst dating/matrimonial app ever

I bought a 3 month subscription 5 days ago and my account still hasn't upgraded. I messaged them twice on the app and emailed as well. No reply. That's how rubbish muzz is. Don't waste your time and money. I am going try and get my money back. Worst dating/matrimonial app I have ever used.

Extortion of feelings

After using this app for 4 years and even paying for it, it's nothing more than an extortion of feelings.

If you like someone and want to talk to them, you have to pay
If someone likes you and you want to see who they are, you have to pay
If someone likes you and you want to like them back, you have to pay
If someone likes you and you want to talk to them, you have to pay
If you want to change your mind about someone, you have to pay
If you want to limit the results to only people who pray or wear the hijab, you have to pay
And you can't use it without the GPS being on

And every now and then, you see someone from the same gender in the results

This app has nothing to do with Islam.

This app has nothing to do with Islam.
Giving girls the right to blur their pictures is like we are living in the Middle East.

The support reply claims it is for “security measures,” but in reality, it only gives rights to women – which is nothing more than a feminist move. I have personally experienced girls creating fake profiles and using the blur option to stalk me and spread gossip.

This app is not much different from Tinder.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this app.

Most of the male users in the app are married!!

I singled by email several times that a user I met turned out married with a pregnant wife and so on, but they kept on asking for proof . Which proof do they need more than a signal from a user? this dude is married and I knew it from his sister in law!

Misleading, Overpriced & Ethically Disappointing

I purchased the Gold subscription on the Muzz Muslim dating app for $119.99 CAD (3 months) expecting a premium experience with better match visibility and features. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating, deceptive, and deeply disappointing both in terms of value for money and ethical standards.
Muzz creates the illusion of new matches by recycling the same profiles with different photos. If a user has three photos on their profile, you’ll often see the same person multiple times.
You get only two boosters weekly, after which you must pay USD 8.99 to boost your profile.

To send a compliment (a basic gesture), you have to pay $8.99 USD each time. Yes, they offer one free compliment every 24 hours, but that’s not enough to make meaningful use of the app.
Essentially, even after paying for Gold, you’re constantly pressured to spend more money just to interact normally. So the big question becomes: What exactly are you paying $120+ for?
You are damaging your credibility and hurting your community by running the app this way. Reconsider your pricing model and stop using the word “halal” as a sales gimmick unless you're ready to honor it fully.

Disgusting and despicable App

Terrible app. Just came back to the app after a long time and saw scenes of kissing and unnecessary intimacy between actors pretending to be Muslim couples on the app main page. If they want to show that it’s a matrimonial site then just mention it. What’s the point of hiring actors to kiss each other wearing hijab? This is disgusting. Even if they are real couples why show them kissing and being intimate? It’s cheesy and totally unIslamic. Totally put me off and will be boycotting this site and will urge all Muslims not to let these scumbags disrespect Islam for their disgusting greed.

It is a very bad application

It is a very bad application. They closed my account without any reason. The reason is only because I am a man. This is racist discrimination. Not every man is bad. I am a good person and I did not harm anyone. I do not recommend using it.

Muzz is a deceptive, broken platform filled with fake profiles and lies. Fake app full of bots and scams.

Muzz claims to be a serious Muslim marriage app, but in reality, it’s just a glorified swipe app with zero real accountability. My experience on this app was frustrating and disheartening.

The platform is flooded with:
Fake profiles and bots pretending to be women

Scam artists asking for money or pretending to be someone else

People lying about their marital status — many are divorced, have children, or are still legally married

A disturbing number of creepy, perverted, and inappropriate men. Women here lie about their "never married" status as most are divorced or have children.

There’s no real vetting or verification, and Muzz does nothing to protect users or improve match quality. They keep showing you the same fake or inactive profiles, no matter how often you swipe.

To make matters worse, they aggressively push you to pay for "premium" features that offer no real value. Paying just lets you get disappointed faster.

This is not a marriage app. It’s a time-wasting, money-hungry platform full of lies, fake users, and bad experiences. Avoid this app if you value your time, money, and self-respect. There are far better ways to meet serious Muslims—through trusted community matchmakers or verified platforms.

I have reached out to Muzz multiple times regarding an issue I am facing, but unfortunately, the problem persists. I would like to clarify that I was mistakenly blocked due to a single error. My friend unintentionally changed my filter from "single" to "married."

I've contacted Muzz several times to explain that this was just a mistake and I kindly request to have my account reopened and the filter changed back. Despite my efforts to log in since the issue occurred, I have not received any response.

Could you please advise me on what steps I can take to reopen my account?
