Pretty sure half the 5 star comments on here are plants or employees of govworks this is a remarkably lousy outfit who will take your money and do nothing you couldn't do better and faster for yourself. It's a scam. I did use them to my disadvantage and delay. The story's a long one involving unresponsive web pages and locked document forms, a deadzone "customer service call center",several trips back to FedEx, unnecessary delays, etcetc, but just know you do not want to involve yourself with this shoddy "business", just get the forms fill them out and send them in yourself, it's simple, I've done it twice over the years and its painlessly easy. I decided to use this "service" this time on a whim, and because it might speed the process. It will not. and it was a very costly, time and energy consuming mistake.

SCAM. Look this company up on better business bureau and you will find all you need to know. I paid $1200 to have my passport renewed in one week. It was guaranteed. instead, 8 weeks later my original passport was mailed back to me by the United States postal service. All my emails and calls went unanswered and they declined to give me a refund lol

This company is a scam. Everyone has the same experience- Believe them. Cannot believe I was dumb enough not to review them on bbb.

Not sure why they have such a poor rating.

I was skeptical after I used this service due to amount of bad reviews I read after, but I needed my passport ASAP. I can say my experience was good. I was updated and informed on the status of my passport throughout the entire process through email. I sent off my application on 14 of April and just received my passport today May 7. I am just grateful I received it back my trip is in 2weeks. No complaints from me. Thanks

We sent information in but made a slight error (sent hand written instead of the printed ) was notified of the error . Overnighted the correct papers. It sat in gov works office for another week. Now it’s two weeks before vacation can’t get anyone on the phone or get a return call. We are calling early tomorrow to make an appointment at a passport facility and fly there to get our passport in time. Don’t waste money. We learned just go thur the post office.

Their website is so slow that we have been waiting hours to print our forms. No reply to chat and they sent an email for the shipping label, but it doesn't include the label.

Seems like a scam, they got all the fees for the forms prepaid, I feel like an idiot. FEDEX should be ashamed.

We placed our order in mid-January of 2022 and both my wife and I received our passports a month later. I know that they have received some negative reviews but my experience was fast and easy with no issues. They get a 5-star rating from me.

Trash! I never got my shipping label from them which is needed to proses your passport through FedEx. I have called them them no one called me back or responded to my chat. FedEx can't help because govworks is a third-party.

Amazing! Got my passport back in 4 weeks. I followed the directions VERY closely! I made sure to get my photo at CVS as they are very thorough and make sure your picture meets the government’s guidelines, and took it to a passport agency and told the person helping me the instructions from GovWorks so they made sure they did everything exactly as it needed to be done. I highly recommend!

This company works with Fedex. I followed the instruction to use Fedex to take my passport photo and sent it in with my application, then i got message from Govworks to say my photo was not good, needed to the another photo and send it to them separate. Very low quality operation, stay away if you don't want to waste your time and money.

This place is horrible. When I didn't get my passport that lost in the mail. They just kept saying that there is a mail delay somewhere and just keep waiting. In addition, when I asked for the tracking#, they couldn't provide one. The service rep is lazy and doesn't even when to understand the issue and just want me to go away. When I confronted the issue, she just used all kind of excuses.

Don't pay them and just do it yourself. It's not worth $200 plus to let them do your paperwork

Had me pay fees and led me through the renewal process only to tell me I had to apply for a new passport. No explanation.

I am absolutely LIVID!!! I applied 4/26/2021 and it is currently 09/15/2021. I have attempted numerous times via email and phone and I am told that they can't obtain any additional information. I asked for a refund and they told me that would not happen. I wish I would have checked the reviews and noticed the numerous negative complaints about this company and its poor business experience.

terrible customer service. please do not waste your money on this service. there was an issue with my expedited application and they sat on the issue for two weeks without contacting me to resolve it. i wish i could give less than one star. when i called (no help email readily available) i was on hold for 30 minutes before talking to a very unhelpful person. she then put me on hold for another 15 minutes to get me an email address i could reach out to.

Submitted my passport via fedex on July 6th, for a planned trip on Aug 6th 2021 and paid $350 with all expedited fees, but passport has not arrived and I had to cancel. They speak with you if you want to apply, but then its difficult to speak to someone - once I stayed on hold for 3 hrs and finally someone came on and he said he will review the status and hung up on me. Bad service - please know that you can do this on travel.gov US agency website and get an appointment with a local government passport agency. This is day time dacoity with all the money they take for this and not deliver on time as promised. Thanks to fedex for putting their brand name there as well.

I shipped my documents on June 18, 2021, received notice that they had been accepted for processing by the government on June 29, and got an email on July 22 that was book was being printed and sent back to me. I received it on July 24 in plenty of time for my upcoming trip on August 13 so I don't have to stress any more over this. I can't speak to the negative experiences others have had, but I can tell you that I was very careful to fill out the paperwork exactly as instructed and double checked multiple times to make sure it was submitted correctly. All said and done, a good experience and I will use My Govworks again in the future if I find myself in a pinch!

Could not print out documents, no tech support. The only part that worked was the part where they took my money. There are other companies that do the same thing who actually have tech support, DONT USE GOVWORKS!!

Hi! Just wanted to write a quick review. I purchased a passport renewal application on the fedex website and paid the $ for the new passport and the expedited fee. Mind you it is expensive (350-400$) but it was totally worth it. Govworks is legit. I got my new passport within 4 weeks! Once you purchase the application on the FEDEX website, you get a confirmation email and all the steps in filling it out. Just follow the steps! Bring everything to either fedex or the postal service and let them do the rest. I was very nervous afterwards reading the reviews on govworks so naturally I freaked out but then I got regular texts saying where it is and where it’s going and I felt so much better. Go on google and type in “Passport status “ to check where it is. That’s all I did. Easy process! Hope this helps.

My husband and I both used Govworks for our passports. Extremely efficient! They stayed in constant communication, will use them again!! I applied on 5/7/2021 and received on 6/25/2021. I was ecstatic!! 6 weeks!! Thank you!! For all you reading is it a scam, it’s NOT! Great service great communication!!

I was super nervous about using this service based on the reviews; however, I am extremely glad that I did as I got my passport in less than a week!!! I’m super excited! Very much so worth it!!!!! My passport reached the State in the 18th of June. 😊😊😊😊
